Thanks man. My HT collection is really lacking on the Alien side of things, so I thought he'd be worth adding at the price I got him. Now I have three aliens compared to my collection of 13 Predators.

Yeah, its the P1 Predator.
I got him about a month ago.
Ive decided to only collect from my favourite movies so thats why I havent got many Predators(That, and the fact that they cost a bomb these days!)
Im probably gonna get the P2 soon and then i'll be pretty much done with HTs Preds...for now.

This alien is probably HT's best overall, but I'm still fond of their first AvP alien. Perfect combination of form and function in a toy IMHO. Plus, it helps that I'm not such a fanatic when it comes to accuracy on that design...

I ended up taking the same route... initially I wanted at least one Predator and Alien from each film, more if it was from a movie I really liked. But as I looked over my collection I realized that was a lot of $$$ and space dedicated to crap like AVP and (potentially) Alien Ressurection

So I've scaled back to just Alien and Aliens, P1 and P2; T1 and T2 and my collection (and wallet) thank me for it

Classic... but I will agree; P2 is really not in the same league as those films. But its older and gives me justification to own the supremely awesome P2 Elder figure

I agree. I think the AVP Alien is actually a really nice figure as far as looking pretty cool and having a decent amount of articulation without falling apart.

Thanks Karamazov. I'm looking forward to comparing it to the AVP Alien and Predalien that I have.

A long while ago, I tried to add an Aliens Warrior to my collection a couple of time, but they just fell apart and were very poorly constructed. I personally like them the best out of the various Alien designs, so it was rather disappointing for me.

Only way of closing the mouth is gluing it shut.
As for the stand, lots of people used parts of the regular HT stand (or Sideshow) attached to the alien's base.

thanks. just read to that the wrist pegs snap kinda easy on these. if so what're good replacements? or are they unique pegs?
