Yeah, just got my 15 day notice too for the exclusive.
I'm equally excited about getting this figure to compliment the v1 as getting the figure itself, the gun just doesn't work well with the v1 costume to hold the rifle nicely and I think the correct gun will work better from this one, and this figure will just be fun too.

I'm hardly an expert on this figure and I missed out on v1. Why, what was matter with the gun?
Also, if you had a choice which version would you get if you could afford just one.

If it came down to just one I'd get the first figure, I like the costume just a bit better and I wouldn't want the scarred head as the only head in my collection, but overall, I like both figures equally.
As for the gun, the one that comes with the first figure is a combination of two guns in one unit, which is the weapon Connor uses at the end of the film and goes with this figure that's coming out now. The single unit maching gun packed with the Final Battle figure is the weapon Connor used in the opening of the film. The first figure's jacket does somewhat limit gun poses and because of that and the limited ways to hold the rifle it has, it's hard to get a good gun holding pose, but the gun with the Final Battle figure should work much better, it's less bulky and more ways to hold it.
This is the gun included with the Final Battle figure, but it goes with the v1 figure.
This is the gun that comes with the v1 but it belongs with the FB.
Unfortunately, you can't take the shotgun part off, because in the movie it either gets broken or whatever and he ends up using the shotgun part and no longer carries the machine gun part.

It's a Sideshow Exclusive as well as Toy Hunters, just needed to order with Sideshow, that's why I got mine from them, I wanted the PDA too.

It's neat, but if I weren't going to use it in my photos with the figure, I'm not sure I'd have cared about getting it. For my photography, the more accessories the better, but when this is on display, you'll never really know I had the PDA.
I was thinking of cheating and use it in the opening scene. I still need to get my ass moving to do that monitor for my JC but my vacation got cut short due to work
Oh well lets hope at least he is arriving today. I am just going to go in and not even bother calling Eric. I want him to see my sad googly eyes in person if he bares bad news

Glad that Toys2 is just getting this and Sideshow's only a couple weeks away, takes the sting out of watching photos

I am curious what the 4 hands are though, I didn't notice if there were different ones used in the proto pics but the shot showign all the accessories didn't depict a second set.

Hadn't thought of that, but I also think the more open left will be better suited to supporting the rifle than the more lcose one like the first Connor had, I might even end up using it for the first Connor, see what happens, nice to have options.
