Also, Michael's focused on his Poppies awards right now getting that set for voting, so the reviews are probably take a little backseat to that, can't sit on the awards for 2009 too long.

To be honest Michael really has his work cut out keeping up with his own reviews, the guest slots (like mine) also take time for him to prepare and post up, so I guess he does them when he has time to. But to be honest I love writing and suplying content for Michael's site as it was through his reviews that I first got into the thought that I could do this myself. And I still get a kick out of the feedback that people enjoy reading them... well mostly.

Oh can you guys post the link cause I am too noob to know what you guys are taking bout :p nvm poppies brought me on the right track to goolge :D

Loving this figure just like version 1. Glad to have him. He's very well kitted out and I think hes worth it for the base, the gun and hydrobot all by themselves. I find the T-600 endoskeleton's base works best with this figure while the destroyed T-600 base from this figure works best with V1 Connor together with the gun.

One thing though, and I think someone else raised the issue in the old T2 T-800 thread but no one commented on it - are the forearms too long compared to the upper arms? Whoever said it I think may have a point. It seems to be noticeable particularly so on this figure with the arm bent 90degrees.

Yeah, I find forearms to often be longer than they should on figures, usually depends on the size and style of the hands, but the end of the forearm on the body is almost where the end of the palm should be but you attach the palm onto that.

is anybody interested in selling the base and the hydrobot please PM me asap!!

cheers.

The arms overall are the correct length but the length is unnaturally divided between the upper and lower arms and its really odd looking on JC version 2 particularly because the coat hugs the arms more tightly and makes them stick-like. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned to my knowledge apart from that one guy in the original T-800 thread.

Another thing - the new gun, the one thats more accurate to the version 1 figure, isn't as easy to pose the figure with as you may have hoped Maulfan. The side-mounted scope presents a problem where the left hand can't wrap around properly. So shooting poses don't look natural really. I've got mine in a 'about to raise the gun to shoot' pose. I dunno, maybe you'll find a way.

Sorry man. They are a big part of the attraction of the figure for me.

Well, I hope to be able to pose him holding it like in the film, which is with his hand around the magazine, but where the magazine you can put a hand around falls on the v1 gun, it doesn't quite look right.

I think with the magazine he can hold closer to his other hand, it might look more natural.

Problem with the other gun is, because of how the gloves are sculpted, his wrists don't bend naturally and it's hard to hold it with the hands in these positions and look good.

At least to me, I really like when figures are holding weapons that the overall look is natural and doesn't say "toy" which is a struggle I have with Dutch, it's hard to have him hold his gun in a firing pose and look like a real person aiming a gun.

I'm not a weapons expert or anything but is it normal to grab the magazine like that? I've never seen anyone do that before.

no, its actually not preferred nor teached, the proper grip would be to grip it by the magazine well but not the magazine itself.

so in the movie some of his fingers are grabbing the gun and not the magazine and should be correct?
Like this?

yea and you also gotta realize the position JC is in.. he is aiming down at the ground.. so its an awkward position to start with.. Not to mention its a movie.. actors often use guns kinda wierd sometimes cuz it looks good onscreen... such as holding a pistol sideways, or shooting rifles or shotguns from the hip..its not the best way to hit something.. but it looks cool..

Love the pics Geil, I might steal the pose!

Dude you ain't stealing it from me but the movies :rotfl and then its MF that reminded me of it just now :lol
ooooo another Cannuck! Toronto..... I mean Toys2 area by any chance?:rotfl

I really hope Sideshow ships this guy this week, it seems like they're quite behind with this figure and Wolverine compared to other figures, getting bored watching everyone else have fun :lol
