They were made by DC Direct. Tried searching few online stores, corner store comics have them. Sure others will also

It was mentioned somewhere that a fellow freak didnt like the creepo vibe he gives off but I love it! It makes him seem so much more disturbed, pervert grin and moustache and all!

anyways Comedian is still my favorite little guy these days.

all US smileys have bow been sent out you all should get them in a week or less I'm guessing! International guys hang tight for a bit some have been sent some need to bev tamped correctly by my post office which will happen on Saturday when I have time to go and wait in line. Curse of the workin man's Manhattan life I suppose.

There's also a seller on ebay has 4 sets of them for a mere $105 shipped.

I opened mine today.His shoulder pad w/ the star on it was off.(The straps weren't connected)I fixed that real quick with crazy glue. He's a real great figure.I'll be taking pics of him tonight when my twin brother gets home from work.

Yup.

The look like rubber on the proto.

Nah, they were leather and they had real 1/6 zippers.

PROTO (Leather Material + Real Zipper)

MASS MARKET (All Rubber)

On the proto you can even see frayed edges from thread work, where the different pieces of leather + zipper were sewn together. I keep saying leather.. but I doubt it was actually real leather. More like pleather. But it definitely was not rubber like the mass market figure.

That's to be expected though. HT usually changes stuff between their Prototype and Mass Market figures.

It also would be really bulky. Molded rubber fits scale better. This was the problem with Silk Spectre. If they would have molded her costume it would have turned out much better.

I don't understand why they didn't include an extra Vietnam era head and flamethrower. Probably would've sold a lot better that way.

I think they expected this line to do better than it did and saved the Vietnam look for a possible V2. But he really should have been an all in one with the Vietnam head and flamethrower.

Just got my Comedian today. Pretty darn impressive figure overall. Beautiful headsculpt with perfect paint aps. The muscle body is lightyears better than previous ones, like Dutch. He doesn't top Blade, but still one of the nicest figures I've gotten in a while. My only real gripe is he sticks out a little on my shelf. Comedian just looks a little out of place with no other Watchmen around.
