Closed endo-fist is what I'll be going for, good to know it can do it.

Definitely need to adjust that coat collar though, too wide an arc around that neck. Someone inserted paperclips, do I recall correctly?

I would have found it hard to believe it couldn't make a fist given that the Endo figure itself could and this should either be the same design or a superior one.

Yeah, that's all I did. A paperclip. the collar and lapels are stitched down, but there's enough room to slide in a wire (paperclip) and shape it how you want.

Anyway I almost lost one of those little silver button holes on his jacket when I was futzing. There's a lot of them, and the on the right chest of the jacket popped right out.

Hmm, I think I'll be undoing the stitching, I don't get why they do it, most of their clothes when they do that look much worse than without it, Marcus Wright looked ok stitched but as soon as you cut the stitching you can make his blue coat look great. HT's tailoring is good enough it doesn't need assistance to lay right.

That's one thing I hate in 1/6 figures, you get tiny buttons like that, most of the time, they're just little bits glued on and the glue hardly holds.

I've never really noticed the difference, so I don't mind, stitched or without stitching. For all I know HT has been doing it for ages now because most of my recent HT purchases have jackets that have their collar or lapels sewn down (where applicable) -- T800, Aldo Raine, Blade, Joker, Godfather.

I'm not sure how having them stitched down could make it look worse though. Maybe you meant in dynamic poses?

The silver button holes are actually embedded/pressed into the jacket. It's not like the fake (and lazily glued on) buttons on Wolverine's red button up shirt. Doesn't mean that T800's jacket avoids the problem of the little bits falling off though. I'd recommend taking care and closely scrutinizing the jacket once you guys get yours.

No, just a general thing. With Marcus, the spot where they stitched wouldn't allow the collar to be folded and futzed to look like the movie.

Here's a pretty good example, here's a shot from Maglor, because of where HT stitched the fuzzy lapels down, if you flip the back of the collar up to be film accurrate, they make and awkward fold and just doesn't look right.

If you cut the stitch away, you can make it look like the movie.

Oh I see. I don't own the Marcus figure, so you'll have to excuse me on that. I guess it's just character specific and something that HT overlooked particularly on Marcus. Otherwise, I think I'm okay with how HT stitches collars and lapels down.

Seeing your Marcus photo(s) again makes me look forward to your T800 shots, Sean. :rock

Looking at your T-800 photos makes me look forward to getting him, best presentation of this figure of all the photos taken.

It's not always a bad thing, the stitching, they did it on Joker and it comes out fine, but with Marcus I immediately got rid of it, I went looking and I didn't even take photos before I cut it off :lol, and I can't remember what else, but I know I've cut lapel stitching on other figures. I'll be curious if it makes a difference with T-800, hopefully a good one, though easily fixed if not.

Well just a heads up I owned 2 sets of the Saturday Toys biker sets and decided to cut the stitch that held the lapel in place. BIG mistake ............. after that the lapels never sat flat, it looked dumb imo. With Marcus it looks better but in T2 the lapels were always flat (T1 the opposite)

Imo I wouldn't cut the stitch, trust me. I even ended up trying 2 way tape to hold them down.

After 2 weeks that were incredibly hard to get through, I finally got my T-800 today. This guy totally deserves all the hype he's been getting and is hands down one of Hot Toys best (he'll only be trumped by a battle damage version) All the details are here, they even got the blue shell inside the shotgun when you pull the lever back. My only complaint is that I think the belt is a bit too thin (feels kinda cheep) and the lack of articulation in the arms, but overall you can pretty much achieve all the iconic poses. Can't wait for Sarah and a T-1000 reveal :clap

Nice :D

Worried! :(

ok you ppl are scaring me I better place my order with Toys2 tomorrow before this sells out :p

Aw man, I preordered mine when the Australian dollar was 92 cents. It was still 92 cents at the beginning of May, and in the three weeks since it's slumped to nearly 80 cents... hurry up BBTS, another week and the aussie dollar will be a dozen cents US. 'We won't charge until your order is ready to ship'...sheesh! thanks for nuthin'.

With shipping this little baby is costing me a bomb. Thanks to the sideshow freaks here who've taken delivery and can't stop raving about it - it makes me feel a lot better about going without electricity and food for the next six weeks :)

Yeah, that drop is terrible, it makes me feel almost like crying. It seems like for a year or more we've been at a steady 90 or so, you didn't even really have to bother with calculating the exchange rate, it's been truly great. I really truly hope it picks up again. I think before it was a steady 90 we were lucky to get over 75 and sometimes were down as low as 60 and crap. I really don't think I can go back to that.

I got a good feeling it's going to pick up again soon though, within the month, but one day, certainly, I guess this constant 90 or so business will be just a distant memory...

Yep, had this & Leonidas on order since the beginning, the dollars been at 92 all the time until literally the day of processing it fell to 90, it took SSC a further 3 days to take payment & dropped to 87 (you gotto to laugh) oh well still getting it cheaper then I can locally, now its at 83 :( , still looking forward to this one, I may have to cancel some of my future orders it drops right down But I'll wait til the last minute to can them all.. If Arnie is anything like Leonidas in hand it will be incredible, I'm relatively new to Hotoys with Salvation figures being my first from them & each figure just gets better & better.
