Here's my Review of the Figure. I also have put it next to the old Sideshow one

awesome review Dino. I find it hard to belive I was so impressed by the sideshow version , the realism of these things has moved so fast.

Great vid Dino. Hopefully not long till I have mine now!

The 1st shot of the figure on the stand after you've took him out made my stomach wrench, it looks that good.

This talk about customs has me a bit worried. I ordered from BBTS and selected UPS Air Service, which notes that "There are no duties or taxes if order is under $1000 AUD". Any Australians about who know for sure I'm not going to have my short and curlies grabbed tightly by an Aussie Customs dude?

Edit: just rechecked BBTS site, they provide the customs/duties regs for each country based on the delivery service. Sadly for our British cousins, UPS notes: "15% VAT (product and shipping) and a handling fee of 11 GBP is due at the time of delivery. Addtional fees for orders over 2900 GBP"

Sorry for posting this here, could've gone into another thread... but I preordered this Arnie months ago and reading this thread is keeping me reassured that one day... one day... I'll be holding this piece of awesomeness in my hands.

On another note, I'm assuming the head comes off easily enough? How much force is required to remove it? Sounds like the black T is the way to go...

He looks better in videos than in most still photographs which can only mean hes going to be astounding in person. Sigh...one day.

That was a nice video, Dino. Unless I'm forgetting a pic from somewhere in this long thread, I think you're the first to present and compare the HT T800 with Sideshow's side-by-side. It's good of you to appreciate the Sideshow figure for its merits.

I got the HT sunglasses in today for my Sideshow figure, they go on, but they look pretty small on it compared to how they look on the HT head, highlights the size difference between the two. The sculpt on the Sideshow's still pretty decent, paint and clothes were the bigger flaws in it, that and the crappy Big Boy Buck, while not a fan of the Buck period, I really hated the BB body, just useless.

its not necesary pop off the head to change the shrit but is recommended because if you put the shrit on the t-800 with the head on , you can force the neck part, sorry by my basic english

Sweet Jesus, that pic looks money!

I think it was Snake Eater that said he slipped the black T on without removing the head. He said it worked well.

pop off the head is very easy, much more than in other figures, pop off it is the best option to prevent damage in the T-shrit
