Mrclean- When you see the factory chrome it makes the bike look a little more toyish. it still looks cool, but the chrome is thick and covers the details. Are you going the alclad repaint route?

Hey guys, thanks for all the useful resources and tips. Ali, had I seen your site with all those pictures, I probably would've bought the kit weeks ago!! lol Those are awesome progress pics!

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do the Alclad route. I have 3 Iwata airbrushes, Paasche airbrush booth and Iwata compressor that are all awaiting some action in 2011. Maybe when the weather gets a little warmer, I'll begin.

I definitely am aiming for the dusty weathered look, like after the riverbed bike/truck chase scene in T2. Most of the pics I see of bikes are when they are pristine shiny squeaky clean. I'm definitely looking forward to airbrushing some weathering effects on this bike. Are there any resources to see any reference photos of dusty bikes?

I plan on buying a few "practice" 1/6 tamiya bike kits to practice on before I work on the real deal Fat Boy. I'm not about to mess up a $500 model kit!

That's a great idea, instead of the usual clean, shiny Harley Fatboy we're seeing..I'll be delighted to see this weathered Harley. :hi5:

You better not haha! :lecture Goodluck man! :wink1:

Found this on YouTube. But I do own both bikes myself.

Congrats! The best version of M134 IMHO. The details they put on their weapons are just awesome! :hi5:

Thx, man.
It´s my first 1/6 Gatling, but it´s really high up there, regarding the details.
:)
Pretty much on par with HT, so it´ll fit my Arnie great, but I guess I´ll keep the round steel part underneath it.
It defines it imo...
