Honestly, I think this is as much off as babydoll was, but both figures look fine for a figure. Not going to be perfect unfortunately. The clothing does look a little stiff though.

^ If you're a good sculptor, you'll see a lot of differences. ;)
I'm not a sculptor, but i can see her eyes are more narrow and her jaw is smaller.

I did PO her when it first came up, but sold me receipt to another collector on a local
forum (that's how we do it here as we cant cancel our order). I do think it came out
nicely and I regret my decision alittle. +Luka's pics are amazing

This actress below however is just stunning...:monkey5
Yeah.. Jamie Cheung is lovely. :)

It's a shame the likeness isn't stronger.. ah well.

I think the rest balances that out anyway. Excellent outfit, sculpted hair, cool accessories, & great base body.

A definite buy for me. :rock

:goodpost:
Sharp eyes you got there.. yes, and her nose is a bit rounder, like an Asian.

But I agree, Luka's pics are awesome!

I just saw OMG's Facebook pics and they're great as usual, however this is a figure you don't want to have the head tilting down, the positioning of the eyes is a little off because of the expression used. All his pics seem like Amber looks Cross-eyed IMO. Maybe it's the backing or lighting he used, but the eyes look very strange, she almost looks psychotic. :lecture

I really have to think hard about this one. :dunno

I wonder if there'll be some variation HS's with the positioning of the eyes. Does anyone know if this will be split shipped as well.

I'm almost certain that once I get this great little figure in hand, any speculation regarding 'falling-short-ness' of any kind will be quelled. :lol

Figure looks great, love the outfit, the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is that Amber had the least screentime and dialog of all the girls, she was the one who resonated the least with me.

I'd get her to complete a team display (like how people are getting Nick Fury for that) but without the other more memorable girls coming it's a pass sadly.

Figure should've been Sweet Pea with Amber later on IMO, HT have a bad tendency to make only 2 figures and have one of them being the least wanted of the line.

If you asked people which they'd prefer, Sam Flynn/Quorra/Clu/Rinzler would of all come before Kevin Flynn, Venom/Sandman would of come before New Goblin, Rorshach/NiteOwl/Dr.Manhattan/Ozymandias would of all come before Silk Spectre.

If those sales are indicative of a successful license, they only have themselves and their character choice to blame for not gaining a better profit. Choose the least desired characters and get the least sales, it's not rocket science hot toys.

Just my guess.. but I'd say they released Amber with BD because they're very different looking figures.

Two blondes back to back wouldn't be as great a draw as you may think.. screen time doesn't dictate popularity always.. :monkey3

So can I get a picture of here posing in only her fishnets and lollipop? What!!!! Did I take it to far???
Damn these high end sexy dolls for men!!

I have needs...:dunno

The actress is pretty cross-eyed to begin with.

True, but just check out OMG' photos if you haven't already. Jamie's eyes are a little strange and off centered at times in real life, I think she might have a lazy eye or imbalance. But for some reason the eyes bulge the cross eyed factor a little too much on the HS when the head is positioned facing down. That's why I hope, or at least if I get her you can position or tilt the head up some more. :dunno

I thought the other girl, who is not Babydoll, Sweet Pea, Rocket or Amber has less dialog and screen time, and if it wasn't for her betrayal, is least significant to the plot. What's her name?...

At least Amber was helping BD/SP...

I can see the idea behind that. But maybe they should've built the Robot at least with her. Yeah I know, it would boost the cost up more, but if you notice that people are willing to buy the Avatar and the Iron Man Gantry set up, I think it would sell. HT's can definitely make something like that, they made the Alien's Ripley with the Cargo Loader robot.

You'd think if they wanted to do a non blonde figure to offset the BD release they have Blondie and Rocket. Or at least Rocket, there's no way someone can tell me that Rocket wasn't just as or more popular than Amber.

I think HT wanted to tackle the uniqueness of having a known movie Asian hs. I know, this is not their first attempt at asian sculpts, but the other films they have tackled in the Asian genre, are still recognized to the public.

Maybe Enterbay will tackle the whole line of girls from Sucker Punch, since they seem to copy HTs lately.

^ Blondie, but the betrayal was a key part to the story, and she was on the ground foghting more so.

Definitely Blondie only had two action scenes, the second in the plane.

Pretty much the trio of Baby, Sweet Pea and Rocket ruled the action scenes. With Baby in one extra action scene by herself with the samurais because she was the main character.

:goodpost: the story for me was about those three girls.

The order that would've sold best IMO is.

Babydoll
Sweet Pea
Rocket
Blondie
Amber

The message was the three girls, a far cry too companionship and sisterhood. If you watch Snyder's interviews that was one factor he emphasized about the ladies and how they play a part in Baby's mind.

Rocket and Sweet Pea in general, was stated to be the alternate world version of Baby's bond with her sister.
