I've seen him listed from $240 to $280 and up. I got mine on ebay for $220 shipped. So I of course think that $219 is a good price, and having him in hand he is a fantastic release. The sculpt is dead on and all the little accessories he comes with are great, especially the Destroyer rifle.

although....spoilers for Agents of Shield
With him being the new director of Shield I'm pretty sure he'll be popping up in Avengers: AOU. So you could always wait and hope for a new release then if you want.

Love your pics, Username.

I don't have many HT figures, but Coulson is definitely one of my favs. I hope we see another version of him at some point if he does show up in the next Avengers film. Very few Coulson collectibles out there. We need more!

After grabbing Loki on evilbay there's no way I can justify not finding a Coulson now too. For a non comic character his dialogue and personality was epic.

"... If you attempt to leave, or play any games I will taze you and watch Supernanny while you drool into the carpet"

AC "We need you"
TS "More than you know"
AC "Not that much"

And of course his inability to speak in coherent sentences around Cap. Just a fantastic actor and character. I thought I remembered hearing he wasn't going to be in Age of ultron but I hope it's false.

I think the main problem is that if any of the Avengers find out they were lied to, it makes their fight in NY(Or more specifically, the reason they finally banded together in light of Coulson's sacrifice), a bit of a sham.
Don't get me wrong, when they finally all get told(Whether in this Avengers movie, or another one), it will be a great moment. "Yeah. I was actually dead for a few days, but i didn't let that slow me down..."
But for now, now Avengers will find out.

I *can* envision a situation in AOU where a bunch of people are on the ground, being attacked by baddies, in need of help, and one(Or more), of the Avengers, deals with the baddie, asks if the people are alright, and moves on.
But the people they just saved are May, Fitz, Simmons, Skye, etc.
And when the Avenger(s) in question is out of earshot, Coulson comes out from behind a wrecked car: "Are they gone? Good. We're done here. Lets get back to to the bus"
Like a nod to the fans(that can be paid off in an upcoming episode of the show as to what they were actually doing), without having the Avengers get wind of it.

We do have to keep in mind that there will be an entire 22 episode season of Agents of SHIELD again before Age of Ultron is in theaters.

Literally, anything could happen.

Yeah but they've(MARVEL) been pretty consistent with keeping the show and movies apart, with the odd exception

If by "odd exception" you mean contently linking and relating to the films then sure. Hell they found a way to link the show all the way back to Iron Man 2. Not to mention the last 6 episodes go hand in hand with the events of Winter Soldier.

I think it's been nicely linked to the movie continuity.
Plus, i have just gone back to watch it all again, and was surprised to find that the "equation"(For want of a better word), that Coulson is writing at the end is the same thing that Ward got pics of when he was posing as the girl with the remote controlled eyeball.
I forgot all about that.

Ohhh yeah! Forgot that happened... Next season should be interesting

That might be false hope because Whedon said in an interview that Coulson won't be in AOU.

Guess we'll find out in a couple of months at the Marvel Panel at SDCC. Surely Clark Gregg will be there with Agents of SHIELD. If he's not at the Age of Ultron panel, then either not in it or they're really trying to keep it a secret.

In the mean time, I built this for my Son's Kid Coulson cosplay. ;)

Started with this:

And made this!

Thought you'd like it. Not as good or as accurate as you would do, but I'm pretty happy with it. It looks like a trash can lid from the back, but it photographs well from the front, and because it's a lid, it has a nice, sturdy handle on the back. ;)

Would be pretty cool if someone made a 1/6 version of this.

Even Cap used a trash can lid. "I could do this all day..."

Each one would have to be bespoke due to the shape.
But i could certainly make one.

Two HT this week and a internship interview... Pretty solid week I'd say

Picked this guy up second hand, he's missing the cellphone but i wasnt planning to use that accessory anyways. He's a really nice fig and I LOVE the Destroyer gun

and I uploaded this quick turntable video of him :lol

Thank you sir, I think I'm gonna start something with this type of vids. They're simple and just shows off the figure well.
