Haha. What goes around comes around.
I have been on various online forums for at least ten years, and i was always quick to help people out. Whether it was helping out just with information, or helping people get items from the UK they couldn't get where they were, all the help adds up. Sometimes i have needed help, and it's great in a situation like that to be able to drop someone a line and they can help you out.
In a situation like this one, i don't like calling on the same person too often, but i always pay more than the straight amount required if they have to forward something on to me.

I never be able to purchase anything from Sideshow. The freight rate they charge is just... absurd. And also, they declare the full value, which means more money for import taxes and stuff... So I´ll have to accept that I´ll always will depend on evilbay...

But I did some good dealings in the market area here.

It will indeed. Online friendships are just as real as face to face ones.
I'd recommend asking someone you are friends with on here if they could take delivery and forward it to you.
That's what i do.

Yeah, I don't get that either. I told captain yesterday that they charge when it's ready to ship as well. Not a big deal asking a question, in my opinion. It's what this forum is here for.

I was able to get this figure for $150 through a friend. At that price, it was an easy no brainer.

Right now I have Loki pre-ordered and am on the trigger for Coulson. I may break down over the next few months and get them all....

At all of the international cheapskates. You want a low value declared so you can save some money on customs fees, but if you have the slighest issue with the figure, you throw a fit. But since its declared at a low value, there is nothing you could get back other than the declared value. So you can either have protection with the full declared value, or you can lie and save a bit of cash by having a low value, but you can't have it both ways. And you wonder why people hate selling internationally

I think it being an exclusive was a good move IMO. He's not nearly as popular as the rest. A niche figure for sure.

Maybe they bought a couple outside of their normal deal. I have no idea why someone would pay so much more

It's just like how rescue Cap was $350 at BBTS and sold out. Makes no sense when SSC still has it in-stock.

I guess I should consider myself lucky that I'm currently unemployed and can't afford to pay rent, now there is just no way that I can spend hundreds of dollars on an action figure, problem solved. Because if I was still working I would have probably bought all of the HT Avengers figures(I had to cancel the Fury and Hawkeye that I had on pre-order). Which means I would have had to order this guy as well. Now that I can't afford any of these figures, I realized that IMO the Hulk figure was just not worth that hefty price tag and that, to me, even though this Coulson fig is awesome it's not worth the SSC asking price..............to me. Again, just my opinion.

You are right, he ain't worth it but they are justifying the cost by slapping "SSCs Exclusive" on it.

Why not? SSC doesn't sell these figures to Asian markets so some diehards have probably bought them as it's their only option.

SSC doesn't sell to some Asian markets...

But for Coulson.... it's available as a normal HT release for Asian countries .... and are getting it cheaper than SSC.

But there are a lot of people with more money than sense.

absolutely useless release except for the great suit that can be used for all your Reservoir dogs, Pulp fiction, Bond, Rah's, etc customs! I just hope it doesn't weirdly bleach orange like lots of ht fabric does so you can get some more colors out of it...
