isn't it obvious that it maybe the Coulson that we're getting in the show is an LMD or maybe the LMD was the one that Loki stabbed. What if the Destroyer gun wasn't the only thing Coulson took from that Level 5 locker.

If this is what they meant by "fake death" then it's a good story. :hi5:

Didn't Fury say on the radio that Coulson is "down" and not dead. "Down" could refer to several things and not necessarily death. :lecture

While I believe that Coulson lives, and that Fury did lie about his death, I don't believe that the entire truth will turn out to be anything as simplistic as the article implies. You can usually rely on Joss&Co. to deliver twisty and convoluted plots. :)

Nick Fury faking Coulson's death is just cutting corners.
Not a very well thought through transition into the TV series.

No, from what I could see of the wound, the blade went through the upper left chest just on or to the outside of the mid-clavicular line - this does not equal "through the heart". If Coulson had been stabbed through the heart, he wouldn't have been chatting with loki, or blasting him through the wall, or having that touching scene with Fury. I'd call it left hemothorax with hemorrhagic/hypovolemic shock - a serious wound, but not necessarily fatal.

But he stabbed him right in the heart?! :rotfl :gah:

Deeeyaaamn. This post pretty much dropped it as if it was substantially warmer than average in temperature.

Even that site says it's "not confirmed" - I'd say it's rank speculation, or just the tip of the plot iceberg.

We could all be Loki'd. My God, think of the children!! :horror

But really, it's got to be waaaaay better than that to justify his return.
