I will definitely get this one. I won't be getting most because I can't so I have to be choosy and for me, the movie version of SW is where it's at. My reasoning is my own and it's because Joss gave me that feeling of River meets Dark Witch Willow and that was a nice feeling as a Whedon fan. I really enjoyed the character.

I admit to knowing nothing about the comic version of the character, which is why I never owned any of the comic statues.

Wonder if HT will even do her- great in movie but not sure HT will have her high on release list- bet they will unveil a Sentry first or even Quicksilver..

Really ? I have the opposite impression, I think it could be one of their best-selling figures if done right. Like you said, she was great in the movie, to the point that a diehard "comics look or bust" guy like me is even considering getting her even if her costume/powers are so disconnected from her comics version. She was that good, one of the highlights of the movie to me (with Vision).
But I might be wrong, of course.

They already have the proto sculpt, so they'll announce it soon enough. Quicksilver and Thor are the only no shows. If Thor is a straight up repaint, it may be very low priority for them cause a lot of people already got that figure and not enough reason for a double dip unless they include something more enticing like the Ultron mk 1 torso. Perhaps a Sentry torso

I really like how they did that creepy, fast witch motion movement with her! Nice touch on screen!

I, too, was won over by her performance. I loved all of her mannerisms while doing her spells and the special effects that accompanied them.

As a comic fan, I'm upset about Wanda's power set in the movie (and her backstory). That said, it was so, so wonderful to see so many of Jean Grey's powers on proper display in a movie. (I'm not saying that sarcastically at all)

As far as outfits go,

I'm partial to her looks in the first half of the film with the black dress and red scarf/cover or the red dress/black jacket. The red jacket is my least favorite outfit, and yet probably the one we'll most likely see for a figure.

The character will almost definitely have the civilian outfit she wears throughout + the red jacket! I'm hoping they add some red plastic to go on her hands as though she's casting a spell, much like the electricity that comes with Black Widow! I think I'd want that more than any other of the few accessories she'd possibly come with!

The preview posted a few pages back looked encouraging. Got high hopes for this figure - hopefully HT won't disappoint!!
