Anyone try taking off the top part of his cloak? My favourite look in the he movie was without the hood.

You mean not just with the hood down, but with the hood completely OFF? Wouldnt that require pulling it apart?

Another user in the thread removed the hood completely using an xacto knife. I suggest searching there. His results went well.

Oh ok so he cut it off. Not something I would ever do personally. Kills the resale value, and even if you dont expect to ever want to sell it, they could come out with a DX that tempts you, but then you probably couldnt sell your old one for much after butchering it.

Which means HT now has the perfect window of early 2017 to drop a fully loaded Kylo DX.

Yeah I agree. I like the hooded look but prefer no hood best.

Also that post is what got me to preorder Ren . I hope the scarf can be futzed to be movie accurate where the left shoulder isn't covered and "scarf" is mostly on the right. Similar to kotobukiya. The look out of the box is based on the trailer where they first shown the crossguard.

Forgot the scarf name. Its in the visual dictionary. Will check when I get home.

1.Unmasked sculpt NO HELMET!
2.Vader melted Helmet
And thats it...

It will maximize sales of both versions.

Nope, Excuse me for that. skimmed the book and thought i read a name. it's actually a cape. never thought it would be a cape.

But, I would have to disagree with above. HT's has been adding much more value with their figures than their main competitor SS. SS has cut their offerings down to just bare bones and twice the price from just a few years ago. I collect figures from SS, HT's, VTS, ACI, Kaustic, 3A and customs. HT's and VTS seem to be more complete offerings for the money. I do wish this figure had the unmasked portrait and the melted vader helmet, however I feel the FU's are coming SS these days.
