Thank you! I'll give that a go then.
Is that the problem? I'll try more force -- but it sure seems like it popped right in and is secure. Takes some force to pull it back out, so its not hanging loose. I thought maybe my prong wasn't folding tight. Is there a 2nd pop that secures it, so I'll know? I don't want to push until it breaks.
I have the same arm issue. It doesnt seem to go in any more than it has. It doesnt even look odd it just feels loose.Thank you! I'll give that a go then.

Heh, I didn't even take the base out of the box. So, I have no clue whether or not I got the cool looking cracked version. I used a generic knock-off base, like what we used to get with these figures.Got mine today! Excellent figure! Surprised by the feel of the outer robe.
I also received a mysterious "cracked" base... perhaps it will be like Wonka's Golden Ticket?
You guys win the interne... I mean, the thread!
Follow my tips, you can't go wrong
Good Luck..remember small or faint pop or crunch sound is common when first attaching it. Don't be fooled because it's still not secure.
When you hear the obvious crunch sound and it's pretty loud you know you got it in the proper way. I would add try to wiggle the arm and push it into the socket while trying to straighten the bottom of the arm
( Always take heed with caution, remember it's still plastic, So don't gorilla press the arm joint in because it could crack and you're screwed. give it ample pressure and force then you should be good to go)
It will require some force but more of momentum and push then raw strength. I can't emphasize this enough with people that have strong hands

I'll give it another go. Or I may have one like the guy below...
Mine as well. I seem to recall someone else mentioning this a long time ago too. Maybe we do in fact have loose joints. Its not bad and doesn't show, like you say, its just that you can feel its loose when to go to move the arm.
Anyway, will report tomorrow what the deal is.
Last fast one for today...

Another quick way to check you popped it in securely is to bend the forearm downwards, if it bends lower than 45 degrees that means it's still loose and dangly in the socket. If you hear the loud pop and it doesn't bend lower than 45 degrees you are golden!
Wrong way..
Notice how the forearm looks weird, arm is connected but not secure
Right way
Still bends low but stops at a point. Means socket is secure with arm attached
I'm telling you it has to be a loud " POP " sound because the first one will sound faint which means it's not secure
Already temped to buy an accompanying First Order Stormtrooper...
Thank you! I'll give that a go then.

Very clean, momaw. Very clean. I'm stealing that pose.
Thanks. Going for when Kylo caught Ren on Takodana.
Needs some tweaking. I did it from memory. Should have brought up the pic
What is Ren doing to Vader in that dark ally?
