I got charged $90 by fedex when I ordered my first figure from Sideshow and that's ontop of $40 shipping.

I order locally now $12 shipping all in.

Can you actually ask them to use a different courier? My Marty McFly was shipped via UPS and it only cost £21 compared to £60+ which seems to be a very big price increase!! I normally get charged £40+ Damn.....

My Jakku from SSC came straight from Hong Kong though... So I don't know.

Yeh my McFly did too. I might just wait it out now for UK sellers to get there stock in.

Inflated Fedex fees seem to be the norm. I'm glad Sideshow PO now ship directly from HK and use UPS. Getting charged half since they shifted carriers.

On a side note, tried to create an account with Fedex here in France to save on processing fees (about €12/shipment) but can't seem to get a positive answer from Fedex. No one at Fedex seemed to understand my position as you suposedly must be a business to have this kind of privilege.

So if I pre-order Rey she will come from Hong Kong?

I have complained to Sideshow but it will fall on death ears! I am so ****ing pissed off right now, I have £130 to pay out on fedex charges alone! That's not far off the price of a figure FFS!

TBH I find Sideshow's customer service appalling and don't even get me started on FedEx's!!!

Don't know if I should get this or not.

I know that they will come out with another one with the guys portrait as well but the wait. Ugh. What to do.

I see someone else is having the same issue.

What if they make it so that the Driver sculpt won't fit on this one? How likely is that?

What if they also make it (Kylo 2.0) to where it doesn't include a helmeted sculpt and all you have is the Driver sculpt option, so you couldn't put a helmeted sculpt on it at any point even if you wanted to?

As ct said, unlikely that any potential future Driver sculpt won't fit on this current Kylo.

I don't see that happening. Sales would be like 0 so Sideshow would take to selling the sculpts for $200 a shot. Hell, i didn't even want a Driver sculpt so it didn't bother me in the least that one wasn't included this go around.

Wait, don't see which part happening? The Kylo 2.0 not coming with a helmeted sculpt, or the un-helmeted sculpt on Kylo 2.0 not fitting on this current Kylo figure? :lol

I'm the same though. I have no intentions of displaying Kylo with a Driver sculpt myself. I loved how intimidating he was in that opening scene on Jakku when he killed Lor San Tekka and froze that laser blast in midair. When I display my villains, I like having them look as intimidating as possible. No doubt the lightsaber duel with Rey at the end was more epic and carried more weight in the overall SW Universe though, so I can understand why many are clamoring for a Driver sculpt so they can replicate this scene.

If I ever decide that I do want the option of a Driver sculpt, I'll just pick one up in the future. I don't see why it wouldn't fit, as I believe the neck joint sizes are generally all the same. The only thing that would be in question is if the body on the Kylo 2.0 figure will already have the neck post with the peg on it to where the sculpt is simply just the head, as opposed to the peg being inside of the body and the neck being part of the sculpt. Even without his helmet on, his neck was never exposed and was fully covered, so I believe the body on Kylo 2.0 (like this current one) will include a neck, as opposed to the neck being part of the sculpt(s).
