I'd say they wanted this figure out as close as they could to the release date and therefore having to have a sculpt approved would have taken too much time.

We'll be waiting a while for all of the human characters to be released, but the masked ones can be produced fairly quickly.

Definitely, I prefer the "Jar Jar is behind everything" theory to Luke is Kylo theor and that ones pretty dumb (though much funnier and does make sense when you go through their "evidence")

Except that one Snoke is a Plagueis / Palpatine.

Palatine yes, I'm not ruling out a Plagueis twist but would be betting on him being a new character going into the film... wouldn't be bothered if it was if they worked an interesting reason into the story, would tie this and the OT to the Prequels but long as it's not for the sake of tying them together I would be happy.

Palpatine killed Plagueis. He even said that in the movie = canon. And book elaborate about that very well.

Oh i agree... but still if one of the rumours was true I would more easily believe Plagueis somehow found a way to survive Palpatine that Palpatine was able to survive the fall, escape the Death Star and then has never popped up at all in 30 years.

Yeah new character for Snoke, as much as I like plagueis. When he dies, Palpatine becomes the sole vessel of the dark side. So unless the dark side all but abandons plagueis for about 62 years and he somehow manages to live with Palpatine realizing, then Snoke is new.

No. It said he is on a podium 25 feet high. And everyone assumed he meant a podium like what politicians stand in front of thus meaning he is at least 25 feet. And there is 0 chance Plaguies has anything to do with these movies. He's dead. JJ was asked at Comic-con and he said no. Muun have humanoid faces which also goes against Serkis' explanation for why they needed mo-cap.

The movie needs to come out already so the dumb fan theories die in the fire they came from.

I highly doubt that. Its much harder to make toys of large characters and Star Wars has always been about maximum toy potential. A minor creature like a Wampa or Rancor, fine. But THE main bad guy? Not a chance. Too hard to make toys of him if that was the case.

No it isn't. Because the entire reason why Sidious killed him in his sleep was because he found ways to cheat death. And I won't get into specifics but there have been leaks and concept art that has come out completely contradicting him as a Muun.

People can carry that rumor torch until the 14th but they will just look silly.

He can cheat death, but yet you know he is dead? Haven't followed the spoilers that much, haven't seen a lot of concept art. Which that means nothing. Chewbacca had a robotic arm in the concept art. Now he doesn't.

Well I would imagine he needs to be conscious to prevent it. Which is why he killed him in his sleep. And Chewie's arm is a completely different situation. We had leaks for a long time talking specific design features Snoke, which then got confirmed with concept art last month.
