Is this normal? The amount of weathering seems to be quite a bit more than any other I've seen on the internet. View attachment 247541

It's supposed to have battle damage. It's amazing how many are freaking out at seeing scratches, welts, spots, etc on the mask. Believe me I would've posted long time ago if there was anything out of the unusual I saw. I have had this figure for over a month now and I can honestly say HT Kylo has to be one of the best designed figures to date and unless you see the figure parts split in half he is well built. So don't worry guys you got your money's worth. :lecture

You didn't properly interpret what happened in that scene. He pulled an entire human being into his hand.

I'd recommend reading the novel.

Anyone read Terry Brook's Phantom Menace? Gave me a FAR deeper understanding and appreciation of the story context and the characters. In fact, it's a good bet that that book is the reason your humble poster's moniker is what it is and not ObiWanToFish...

They're all hand painted so there's going to be varying degrees of weathering. Is it smooth to the touch or does it feel like a scratch. If smooth it's intentional, if not then it may have been damaged during assembly or shipping.

:exactly:

Even then, if it bothers someone that much, their only option really would be to buy another sculpt (or whichever part it is that they feel has a blemish or is defective). If you buy another sculpt though, it will still have a weathered effect to it.

Well, I decided to email BigBadToyStore to see if they'll let me exchange it for another one.
Considering the amount of money I've spent on their website over the years, I'm inclined to believe they will allow it.
We shall see on Monday.

Modded my hood a liitle more. Cut the hood from the scarf, they're now 2 pieces and allows for more posing options. Glued some magnets to the scarf and tunic so they stay plush a little more. And lastly, cut the lining out of the hood as it bothered me how thick the hood was. Did all these since I have a stock cape as well. tmp_20827-IMAG1332_1-2006605395.jpg
