1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Golden Age Captain America

I have same issue....I have the full Avengers line up except Thor (I thought he looked like Leo). I have Golden Age and Stealth / Civilian Cap on PO and Rescue and Avengers already in the collection. While I like Cap, I don't like him enough to have five different versions. The pickle then becomes parting with Rescue and Avengers Cap meaning breaking up the Avengers collection. While I still have a Cap figure, it won't be the Avengers version soooooo how big a deal is that to me? Dunno, I am on vacation and not thinking too hard about it. If I break up Cap then I break up IM (I have bd Mark VII and Mark VII) but Mark 42 is coming soon so Caps fate will be followed by IM

Uhmmm...just prep for the Avengers 2 outfits as your line-up? At least Cap's costume there is much more bad-a$$, Iron Man is rumored to be in a predominately red version of the Mark 42 and Thor is wearing the same outfit from "The Dark World" except the metal armor "circles" are silver instead of gold. Maybe sell "Rescue" version since it's mostly for one scene. Unless you want to replace the headsculpt on that with one of the upcoming ones that looks more like Evans.

Yeah I canceled my GA, just not happy with it overall it clearly got rushed and I just didn't care about having a
CA in my collection anymore. I think I will wait for the AOU version as it looks pleasing to me.

I'm actually gonna try and start doing them. Did movie reviews in college for the paper and video production in highschool so I feel like I can do it... I hope

I have to get all the stuff together tho, like I'm trying to make a diffuser for the lighting I want :/

I see it as this; if you're collecting entire lines from one movie , then keep that whole line intact. But if you're just going for what you think the best representation of a character is, then you shouldn't feel obligated to stick to, say, Avengers Cap if you think TFA or GA Cap looks more iconic. It's not like if you one day sell, you're going to make more because you have a complete Avengers movie team. Nobody is buying the whole line up in one shot. But I'd you feel having that particular movie complete is better for your collection, then just stick being complete. I personally prefer to just have what I feel best represents the look that's most iconic to me.

I also think GA Cap looks awesome and am stoked he's ready to ship! I hope you guys on wait list convert.

Good post. I'm all in for the Winter Soldier line. I'm happier with GA than I expected to be. I think once he's on a shelf next to Winter Soldier he'll look even better. Here's a quick cell phone shot. Got my processing email today as well so will probably sell my extra. I know I asked for PM's before but I'll just put him on my sales thread once he's in hand. Unless somebody wants to back a money truck up to my door.

Thanks to Tesa from SSC's customer service, my flex was removed and I'm getting this guy when he's ready to ship. SSC customer service is really great. I havent paid anything yet so it was good to go.
