If I manage to grab one of these I wouldnt sell it anyway. The point of owning it for me is to display Cap in his WWII glory with the 42WLA.

If Im going to get rid of a Cap figure, it is going to be my Avengers 1 figure for an Avengers 2.

But yeah. Might not hit Hawkeye status, but $350 - $400 wouldnt surprise me one bit.

I looked at the Hot Toys descriptions for all of the Winter Soldier figures again and I feel that they will release like so: GA Cap in June, BW in August, STRIKE Cap and STRIKE/SR two pack in October with WS coming in the winter as in November.

BTW anyone know how many pieces this is limited to, because I heard 300 which makes me really glad that I got one.

You really think they will release them that soon? Usually Hot Toys is late, not early...

Well, with the cap figs it is just clothes and a figure with hands and head, the only hard part is a shield and only making 300 of them for GA CA is a breeze, although for the STRIKE cap they have to make twice as much, and the Winter Soldier has all of those guns and the arm plus two heads so he should be the latest. I don't know, but that's what I think will happen.

Makes some sense. The Wolverine released way early. Mostly just a costume change with minor accessory differences and it released in February and was due in June. Anything is possible.

Wow. Only 300 GA figures? Really?

How many do they normally produce for an average release figure?

Its wayy more than 300

Usually the con events in asia are 300 a piece (like 4 or 5 of those) and then SS gets a big batch for NA... it is in no short supply. I think the average figure get 7000-10000 produced... I have no evidence for that claim just a rough estimate

I think he was saying the rumor is SS only got 300 or so, but you are correct that there are a lot more than 300 worldwide. I really hope they make a BD version of this, they have the HS and suit, so it would be very easy. Maybe a SDCC exclusive?

and if the did make a BD version would it come without a shield? he dropped it in the final fight.

Scalpers can bite it. I was able to preorder one but I still want a extra of the new die-cast shield to display with my strike version. I wonder what I'll end up paying for it on the secondary market. Too bad Hot Toys or Sideshow can't sell some of the accessories separately. Of course Hot Toys could have solved all of this by including the normal colored shield and the new Steve Rogers head in the strike version release. But they would probably sell less sets that way.

Marketing, my friend. Marketing. Grats on the PO. Many of us are waitlisted still. Yanno...the more I think about the metal shield, the more I wonder if it will be plated instead of being metal.

Doesnt this figure have the ability to secure the shield to his back? I love that he did that in the film. One thing my Avengers Cap wont do.

Gipetto, I might have missed it, but did you ever recieve your prize?

I did man...not much of prize either :lol

Check below :wink1:
Well bad news...or rather disappointing news...my prize was not this figure :lol or any figure :rotfl they really should've double checked that "congratulations" email before they sent it out haha

just turned out to be a movie poster with a HT logo at the bottom and 4 character specific Real D 3D glasses (Cap, Falcon, BW & Winter Soldier). Too bad I'm watching the movie in IMAX :lol Really sorry for all the hype fellas :slap

I don't see how these count as "Premium" products. I could've went and bought a poster for $4 or got a free one from my LCS once the hype went down. Oh well, free is free right? :lol
