UGGGGG!!!! I'm on the wait list. I missed the announcement and went on SS two days later and they are gone. Seems to me that this shouldn't have been such a limited release as this costume was key and he was in it longer than STRIKE.

No he wasn't. He was in STRIKE most of the film when he wasn't just Steve, this was just for the final fight.

I think they assumed that people wouldn't be as interested due to the similarity to the TFA version. I'm actually surprised as to how much people are getting into these figures...including me!!!

I honestly think the only reason some ppl are interested in this version is b/c it's so limited. If this was a normal release I bet most of the ppl who ordered would've instead waited to use a coupon, ordered then canceled once the hype died down, or get it later possibly on sale at a retailer due to it's similarities with the TFA version and lack of accessories. just a theory though

Of the three phases (Civvie, STRIKE, GA) it felt to me like "just Steve" got the most screen time. And, heck, ya cant even get that figure as a stand alone.

Chris Evans wears the GA uniform from (approx) the 1:32:00 mark to the 1:58:00 mark. Obliviously, he isn't on screen during that whole time. So it gets less than 20 minutes of screen time. The STRIKE outfit gets about 27 minutes of screen time. The rest of the movie is Civvie Steve.

I love this version because I dont have the First Avengers version, and I think this suit looks more like a classic Captain America than the Stealth Suit. I love the extra little details they added to this suit in the movie, like the extra red stripe. I think it's an improvement over the First Avengers suit, which I also thought was great (but didnt want to risk getting a crooked "A" on the helmet). Hopefully this one is released without any major QC issues!

I'm debating taking myself off the waitlist for this and going with the stealth suit and Rogers two pack. This suit is cool but I think the stealth one fits the tone of the film more. Only downside is not getting the traditional red, white, and blue shield but I suppose I could pick that up separately.

Totally get it. I love the TFA suit. I've owned it twice as well as the Rescue Cap and Red Skull. I love Cap I really do, but my collection can only handle so much. Cap has always been the last one I'd sell when I've had to. There should be no worries of a crooked A since the out line is engraved on the helmet this time instead of printed. I had the problem with rescue Cap. I got one with a crooked A on the helmet and SS wouldn't replace it. It was keep it as is or return it for a full refund so I returned it

@yllum - Avengers Age of Ultron will be a refinement of this suit with a bit more red here and there. So yes, there will be more.

I got my preorder down but I hope they work on the face sculpt before release. Like past figures, it looks nothing like Evans. They did it right with the stealth suit and Steve Rogers figure. Don't know why thy flubbed this one.

Oh buddy. That not what i meant..I was hoping for another version of this golden age suit from cap 2 movie.perhaps a dx? Or battle damaged?

I got him just in case the Strike version did not come with the new die-cast normal shield but now I've really warmed up to the figure all together. Of course, I'm going to have to go out on ebay now to pick up another copy of the die-cast normal shield to display with my strike version. Why did they even have that dumb powder blue version in the first place? Blaugh...

Uhhhh.... STEALTH? Bright red, white and blue isn't exactly stealthy.
