The target release dates may often just be very safe placeholders. They have to have figured out that pushing things back is bad for business, so better to say "hey this won't be out for a year" when they know it may be ready in 4-6 months, but maybe not for 7-9, or worst case scenario, the original quote of a year. That's my guess. Like when a restaurant tells you the wait will be 45 minutes to an hour for a table, you will rarely actually wait that long. They just say that so if it does take that long, you can't be pissed and say "but you said 30 minutes!"

Haha, I only collect Marvel Studios Hot Toys. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ALMOST made me break that streak since the suit is pretty much comic book accurate but it's the material that's holding me back unfortunately.
