Ugh, I'm so upset about the change in 7toys7 Ebay store shipping policy. It's not really "free shipping."
They used to charge a price per item to ship - and each item had a reduced rate which was used instead if it was bought as an additional item with one or more other items.
So if a trinket cost $5 to ship and had a reduced price of $1.5 to ship, I could buy three trinkets for a total shipping of $8 ($5 + $1.5 + $1.5). It worked for multiple different items too - the first item you bought used the standard shipping rate and the subsequent items bought in the same order (even if different items themselves) were shipped at the reduced rate.
Now 7toys7 just incorporated the standard shipping rate as part of the "item cost" - each item went up in price by exactly the amount of the standard shipping rate, so shipping is labeled as "free." But this means that you can't get reduced shipping prices if you order multiple items, since each is now "priced" at the standard rate of shipping.
I used to buy a lot of 1/6 parts for customs, etc. from 7toys7, because of the reduced shipping deals - it was worth it to buy lots of items from them in one session, even if some items individually cost more than they would from other sellers, since the savings on shipping made it worth it.
Now, I order from them a lot less.
