Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

Yea, I would have deleted those pics too . . .

In stock form it looks terrrible. Once customized it doesn't matter.

Well I can level with you that is isn't the most attractive figure in stock form with the clunky boots and too much leg armor. What I did is cut off some of the leg armor, so it looks much better now. I just like how DCD added the removable cell phone, that's the best accessory imo. It also has a nice (and accurate!) grapnel gun holster on the side of the belt, and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb such as with the DX02.

The headsculpt is nice and the armor being all black and the large cape, along with the hugeness of the figure make for a unique look. Like I said it's an acquired taste, but I think it looks cool. You don't like the look of it and I respect that.

@ EdwardNygma1:

I'd really want to see the pics, though :D It's great to see a lemon turn to lemonade :)

Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

here are the pics of mine. you can really tell how my picture taking has improved since my first year of College, thanks to Mag that is :hi5:

I actually cut just about all the leg plates into their separate pieces and glued them all back onto the mesh under-suit, cut the chest piece and bicep plates all to fit better. long story short, the whole suit got cut to fit to the new body

Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

hmmm... not bad Gipetto. Do you still have this figure? If so, could you take newer and better pictures. This might not be a bad option for customizing and trying to improve it just for kicks.

Same here. Would be the perfect companion to the Batpod.

too lazy to type it again

no I don't have it per-say :monkey3

it's in pieces now. Once I got my Medi, I took it back apart to use the body for my Custom Joker.

Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

I think I'm gonna try that cutting them into pieces and gluing them on. I'll try and post pics of my figure, or rather, find the ones I already took in my collection thread.

Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

Now I see it. Yeah they are small. I have mine displayed with the bendy hands, which are for some reason the correct size.

but yeah, for a unique and not accurate figure from DCD no less, it is okay.

The DX is from what is regarded as the best 1/6 company out there. They had two tries to nail it, and yet we still get issues with it. Just sayin'

The fact that you're saying this is absolutely hilarious. 2 attempts to nail it and it's night & day better than the DCD but you're defending that turd as an "acquired taste." Only if you're too cheap or too poor to afford the HT, maybe. But that's not acquired taste, that's just cheap or poor (or both :lol). Perhaps if you owned both, instead of just the DCD, we might take you a bit more seriously. :huh

Re: Hot toys dx joker !?!?! ...

Ed has the DX.

But he's mashing it up with the Medi.
