Another way of doing that, if you have firefox, is the rehost plugin:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rehost-image/
It's so awesome, especially since it gets around sites that won't let you hotlink. There's probably similar plugins for other browsers.

Ha! I was just commenting in another thread on seemingly obscure sci-fi/fantasy referances that only our kind of folk would get. Theres another. All it took was one word to remind of you something that otherwise has nothing to do with the topic at hand!

I honestly don't even understand what you mean.
Before I understood how the multiquote function worked I would just open up two tabs with the same thread. One for creating a post and another for copying text/IMG codes from.

Right. Or just copy the IMG code from the post.
