I think you posted in the wrong thread, DX07 thread, perhaps? It's tough. Luke has the weather vane, Joker has the interrogation room; Luke has two heads, Joker has two heads; Luke has two outfits, Joker has one very elaborate outfit. What it all comes down to is: which do you like more? For me, as cool as Luke is, it's Joker all the way. He's more iconic. When I think Star Wars, I think Vader, or Solo, or, hell, even Boba Fett. What are you more into, though?

I posted in both threads, so I could gather opinions from fans of each figure. ESB is my favorite film, TDK number two. I've ordered DX-12 and I am going to order Sideshow's Vader. Right now I'm more into Batman, with all the cool HT stuff and Rises just coming out, but the major part of my collection is Star Wars. I don't have a single HT figure yet, so I don't know which one is better quality, better sculpted, etc. I'm looking educated opinions that bring something other than pictures, and the members on here generally seem pretty helpful.

Well, it seems like you might've mixed up the posts (I.e. posted the Luke-centric one in the Joker thread). I was only able to piece it together via context clues. As I said, it's all about what you want. I'd take price into account, though, too. With Luke, you're getting two full figures and a diorama for $300, whereas, with The Joker, you're getting one figure and a dio for $270. Personally, I think Luke's the better value.

That being said, what I love about The Joker are all of the little intricacies; the shoeblade, the various weapons, the outfit; it's still a very nice set.

I realize Luke is the better value. By a mile. But it isn't like I can't see why Joker is almost the same price. His suit is the best tailored 1/6 piece of clothing I've ever seen. And he includes the table, chair, guns, etc. Luke is two figures, yes, but displaying both is a little troublesome. I canceled Bane and Bossk for one of these, and am just going through the decision of which one to get. While the Ani-Con photo of the alternate head wasn't flattering, the tweaked Luke head hasn't even been seen. So I'm just struggling here.

Well, just going by what you're saying, it seems like you're trying to justify the DX 11 more and more. I think you've already got your answer.

No problem; I don't think you'll be disappointed. Agree 100% on the outfit, and, honestly, I think that these are the two best Ledger Joker heads on the market. I see a ton of heads that capture Ledger's likeness, but are lacking in the personality and expression of The Joker. These nail both aspects IMO.

Apologies if this has already been covered (probably has) but, is 2.0 using the same body as the first DX? Would I be able to just get the new outfit and swap out the old?

It hasn't been confirmed , the official pics released did not show the grenade rig , although its just the prototype , anything can change from now until December .

I know but Hot Toys has been known to change things
