That was actually a much nicer sculpt than most people ever gave it credit for (heck it was an actual scan of ledger) :lol
I remember your customized version, looked awesome :hi5:

Lol yea definitely a good sculpt, and with some help, it can be a great one.

And you're correct. I'm actually doing another for a fellow boardie since I have more time than I thought I would in my last semester. It's not going to have "real" hair though. Looking forward to working on another joker.

I don't know if it was Gipetto's, but I remember a re-paint floating around on here that was really nice looking. It's probably the same one.

this one is mine to possibly help jog your memory :wink1:

I do think the dc direct is a very good sculpt from the nose up but I do remember hearing it was a scan of ledger and at the same time it says it was sculpted by kolby jukes.how can he be the sculptor if its a 3d scan?

Someone had to sculpt that awful hair and those inaccurate scars on the original

Yeah, they took a scan and then a sculptor had to 'finish' it.

I think he took the job of finishing it too literally. :rotfl

I've seen Kolby Jukes on several zbrush websites. He's a talented digital artist. I don't know what kind of limitations he was up against but he's capable of better.

Not familiar with his work but I can only imagine DCD just screwed it up by cheapening out on the resolution of the 'print' and probably asked him to keep the hair simple to make it an easy one piece cast for them.

Then they proceeded to butcher him with a splash of green and white paint.

I still have absolutely no complaints about this figure. Im look forward this thing more than anything I've ever bought. Gonna be a good buy for sure. :D

Just found some pics of kolby jukes jokers before hair was applied,he did a smiling sculpt as well
