Looking at the shirt I wold believe only Katos handmade one can top this one. However the tie has turned out even better at least from the proto shots. It looks almost like real silk. Perfect. Will definitly upgrade my Kato sets with that tie.

So what are people doing with DX01 now?

Keep your old dx01 for the grenade rig and to display one of the new heads, sell your old joker head with crappy pers, profit!

Or sell your old dx01 without grenade rig and buy two dx11

I reckon I'll bashing some of the parts over to my DX01, I suspect I'll abandon the grenade rig pose he's been in since I got him and whack the new neutral HS and coat on him and then set up the DX11 with the laughing HS and table

Looks awesome so far. The laughing sculpt is incredible, looks just as good as Adam's version IMO. I hope J.C. Hong's paint-job translates well to the final figure, as it's perfect as always.
I don't really care for the interrogation table and chair, don't think I'll display him with those, but my opinion might change once I have it in hand.
The only thing I don't really like so far is the hair on the PERS sculpt, it sticks too much to his head. It looks good from certain angles, but bad from others, so it might look good once in hand.

I think I paid $123 for my DX 1.0 when it came out, thanks to DC Direct being the distributer. Now with Sideshow handling things... I'm guessing about twice that for the new one.

Superb. Hot Toys is continuing to up its game with these pieces.
I know this type of thing ticks the early buyers off, but the moral is: buy at retail and sell high if you're gonna sell, but if the market falls, don't complain. That's why I have stopped buying these figures in the secondary unless its at or below retail.
