Mines here. Beautiful. Supremely impressed with it. :rock

Pics! :hi5:

I believe it's both sculpted and haired. That's why it looks so good. That's the only way to go to get it to look natural. No offense to him but there is not one MRM head that I like. They all look very sloppy. Not to mention they're really expensive. More expensive then better sculpts. I respect him as an artist though.

Exactly.

My slightly to long review of this fig..........

My final thoughts DX 11 = home run.:)

thanks for the dx01/dx11 comparison! seeing them together really demonstrates the distance hot toys has come.

and i love my dx01 (won't be kicking him out of my collection), but dang the dx11 is one mighty sweet peach.

: D

It's been a long time since I've been this hyped to get a figure. Probably not since Nicholson.

I was really excited for DX Luke. This one comes pretty close to that excitement. Im usually pretty excited about any HT DX release. There's just something special about getting and opening those DX box's.

Definitely. Luke was a really cool hype-y figure, what with his surplus of extras, and all; particularly for Star Wars fans. Hell, I'd still like to pick him up at some point, but this one just really gets me going. Normally, my excitement peaks at specs and pics and I patiently await unboxing day(when I get super amped), but there are certain releases like this one that just keep me pumped from the moment in-hand pics come out.

The DX 12, though, the excitement just isn't there. I feel that they could do a lot better; especially when you hold that up to figures like this, and I think that they still will. That's why I didn't get very hyped for it, and that's probably why I still haven't bought it.

Same. Just can't over the eyes thing. Its just too glaring an oversight (no pun intended) to be excused after the same thing was so criticised on the DX02. I'll wait for another or I won't own a TDK suit at all.

I have seen some very unflattering pics of some of MRM's sculpts, so I can understand your position, but here are some pics of my cast unpainted. I think the hair looks pretty well done to me (aside from it needing some recoloring/styling). It should look even better once the makeup is painted on, and blending the transition of the "roots."

That's the clincher. The roots. With full a fully haired sculpt the hair is much too thick and even at the roots. Where if the roots are sculpted with real hair blended in it comes off wonderfully. Speaking on your custom, the likeness is pretty good there. I'd like to see it when it's painted. Who are you going to get it painted by?

I'm gonna throw this out there and maybe somebody will catch this. Waiting on The Joker 2.0.Wanna buy another body for the laughing head sculpt. What TrueType body should I buy Thanks!

Personally, I bought one of those cheap narrow shoulder bodies. Keep in mind Im not as picky as other collectors. The DX01 was on a narrow. Im tired of paying stupid prices for HT's TT's.

I started using the knockoff TT's you can pick up on ebay and have never looked back. The difference is negligable, joints tight, and none of them have broken on me yet. Saves a fortune!

hi,

I'am thinking of maybe (if i can afford it) ordering this figure..
and i was wondering what parts would i need, if i wanted to make another Joker, with the laughing head, sitting on the chair..

This is what i come up with so far:
1 body
1 neck connector
2 feet pegs
2 hands pegs
1 pants
2 shoes + 2 socks
1 shirt
1 tie
1 vest (green)

am i missing something?

and apart from the bay, where is it possbile to buy those parts?

Thanks.

Haven't had time to futz or check out all the gear but here it is as of right now:

I think you get a neck connector already on both heads. And if you want to save a load you could always buy a headplay narrow shoulder and that has hands, hand pegs, foot pegs etc with it
