Price is outrageous, no surprise there. Indiana Jones DX included just as much for $25 less. This should not be perceived as a good value compared to the Nicholson Joker because that was a more expensive license; Jack gets a cut for '89 Batman merchandise and double a cut for '89 Batman merchandise of his likeness.

Indiana Jones had only 1 sculpt, simpler (worse tailored) outfit.

Nicholson Joker had only 1 headsculpt and does not have something the size of the table. Plus this is KATO tailored, that could offset the whole license thing.

Thankfully Sideshow changed "initiator" to "Detonator" on their site. WTF is an "initiator" Hot Toys!? I thought this figure was gonna come with a brochure about something.

Initiator is someone who initiates calling a Detonator an Initiator. Fact.

Paint on HT's is fancier, and is likely to be better applied. Plus, you get lots of accessories and detailing here that you don't get with statues. Both prices are fair for what you are getting IMO.

Wow! 350 dollars for PF's? What a joke. They look cartoonish, can't change poses and the paint jobs are awful. Please don't compare that crap to this figure.

LOL how the times have changed. people defending a 275 dollar doll when these DXs were 165 before. "BUT BUT IT HAS MORE USELESS ACCESSORIES THAT I WONT BE USING!" lets just be honest. we are getting ripped off but we are addicted so we will be paying nonetheless.

however, this is the figure that will make me buy a hot toys after giving them up for a few years now.

Many here were guessing well over $300... so to many this IS a bargain.

This is not a bargain. Pieces of plastic like this shouldn't go over $150. lol

This is just Hot Toys taking advantage of customers.

I'm going to need a detolf for just my DX purchases alone.

I managed to stay away from them until DX05. Basically got or getting everyone since: Indy, Sparrow, Luke, Keaton, Nicholson, T-800, and now this Ledger.
