I actually made my V1 an interrogation scene because the fabric creases nicely and the pants ride up a bit showing the socks. They're like the perfect fit. The only thing against them is the pin stripes aren't as highlighted and it doesn't have the suspenders. But the DX 11 doesn't either.

The DX 11 pants feel like cheap crap to me. They also crinkle if that makes sense. Especially down by the ankles. I don't know what they are, but it doesn't feel like fabric. It feels like that same thin stuff they use for ties.

You mean on the hem of the pants? Yeah, i did notice that too. Man, if you are bothered by that, i think you have ocd like me :lol

But then again, the joker is the type of guy who never bothered to press or wash his clothes. And prolly rake of sweat and dirt too. So it somewhat add to that look i guess. I think i will weather the outfit up as soon as theres time and some tutorials.

Yeah, the V1 pants felt like the real deal. Cotton probably.

And I agree about the suspenders. It doesn't really bother me because they're usually hidden, but as far as detail is concerned, it doesn't make sense to do it in 2009 with the DX 01 but then ditch it for this one.

Oh and that reminds me, I don't like how the chain is sewn to the pants.

Makes perfect sense - they gotta add something for their 2.5 or 3.0 dx joker. :lol

Actually i think the chains are cleverly executed. I just found out when i was contemplating wheter to cut em or not for the jail scene, and that they could be perfectly hidden away by putting it inside the pocket. Just stuff the chains in.

Well, I got the impression it was supposed to be the crème de la crème. As if it was Lindt Chocolate. You just know in 2 - 3 years time a 2.5 or 3.0 they'll give us that and take other things away. It's inevitable. They never seem to check every box on the full feature list.

Oh yeah, I opened it up last week.

Postives

- the Grumpy mask might be my favorite part, glad I got the Ex.

- love the main headsculpt (though, is the PERS lever supposed to be so small?)

- the wet look of the paint applications is fantastic

- originally I didn't like the "real" shoes, but in hand they're perfect

- tailoring is top notch

- the new shot gun is great as are the new knives

- finally got the damn orange lining in the coats

- table, lamp, chair and diorama are a great added bonus

Negative

- laughing head doesn't do much for me, not as much as I thought it would

- the way the ball joint works in the shoes/feet are horrible

- I don't like how soft the purple coat feels. In hand the texture isn't as bad as pics make it out to be, but it doesn't feel right

- true type feels crappier than usual, not a lot of head movement to be had, limbs feel loose, etc.

- the pin stripped pants are the worst pants yet. It feels like the cheap paper material they use for their ties. The V1 Joker's were far superior and were a nice fabric.

Yup. I can agree with mostly all of this especially the ones in bold. I think I said the same things about the V1 pants and the laughing sculpt in my review. The laughing sculpt looks sensational in the proto pics but it feels like its missing something in hand which is weird. The real shoes are a highlight on an already great outfit and like you I didn't give a hoot until I had them in hand.

The Jack Joker Jacket was the perfect fabric.

It is. I think they should have used that instead of what they did use and the coat would have been better for it. Jack Joker fabric is also in scale.

Weird how they would ditch the suspenders but Im not feeling the loss. I wouldn't see them anyway plus I never owned them for my DX01 which I pieced together but used V1 pants.

I don't like that the chain is sewn but I do like that the other end of the chain actually goes into his pocket like it's supposed to. Again, one step forward one step back. Doesn't bother me though as it's not visible.

I told you that coat was super soft. :lol

I'm probably asking for trouble here... See if Kato's name wasn't behind that jacket, it would have been slagged to no end. Because as everyone else has observed, Medicom released a Joker with that style of jacket with that same stringy fabric and it got ridiculed to no end. But because Kato's name was behind it, it was hailed. Fact?

Well, remember when I kept insisting I wasn't buying any more pieces for my Joker v1 with various DX11 parts? I kept my word, didn't buy any more pieces.

Bought the whole damn set. :lol

Getting it from my shop tomorrow. Only paid $60 since I had some credit.

I'm looking forward to fiddling with all the stuff the set comes with. Plus I'll have two complete figures to set up, with mostly DX11 stuff on the laughing sculpt.

Now to find room in the Detolf! I've made it a point to only have one figure per shelf to maximize the display space, so it's time to decide who gets the boot.

I pretty much agree with everything you posted. I thought the pants on the DX11 were crap too. I sold mine and used the DX01 version which look a lot cooler and had braces, just switched over the gold chain.
Also agree with you about the body, cheap and floppy.

Those were my two biggest gripes when I opened mine, not really a fan of the headsculpt either, but hey I think thats just me.

Score man! I think you'll be blown away.

I finally got SS to ship me my second set!

I feel the same way about the laughing sculpt as most of you. There was big talk when the promo pics were first released; most people favored the laughing sculpt and thought it to be a copy of Adam's. Now that I have it in hand it's ok but not that impressive. I prefer the regular sculpt. Actually I dig it to death :rock

I'm really surprised to hear that people got loose bodies. Mine is tight as hell :dunno

Yeah. When pics first popped up, I liked the laughing sculpt way more.

Once I got it in hand though, the regular headsculpt really caught my eye. The laughing head ended up being box fodder.

I mean there's nothing wrong with it, the sculpt is great and the paint apps are good but, I dunno. I think I would have preferred a smiling head sculpt (something we haven't gotten yet for the Ledger Joker), not something so specific and extreme.

My neck, ab crunch, waist and legs are pretty flimsy and cheap. I think my torso has a crack in it too.

I remember complaints about the Jack Joker, especially the legs and knees. Thankfully I didn't have problems with it. This one feels pretty crappy though but it wouldn't be the first one. I just deal with it. Thankfully with all of those layers of clothes it's not really an issue.

I also forgot to mention that I love the magnets on the lapels. Sure beats the glue (on Nicholson Joker) or stitching (on the T-800 leather jackets).

:lol I whined about Clipperking's awful camera operation one time, and some CK groupie gave it to me somethin' fierce. People can be so touchy :lol

This youtube review drama that's been going on lately has been funny stuff.

That Hot Chix woman has the best reviews in my opinion. Her reviews usually have great production quality and I really dig that turn table and the classy videos she makes.

The second best is Autobot John, without a doubt.
