Sorry to rant.
The new Joker 2.0 looks so great, that's why I'm so P****ed off.
I pre-paid for this figure back in Sept 2012. Looked it up on ebay and paid in advance to djfungshing in Hong Kong. He has a great feedback score so I thought I was safe and he has an Ebay shop too.
Problem was this was completed outside of Ebay (although paid through PayPal) and the seller refunded me last month cause I dared to inquire when I could expect it's delivery.
Warning: I now believe that djfungshing is a scammer and had no intention of sending this out. Aside the fact that I'm £7 short due to currency fluctuations, I am totally gutted. He has not responded to several emails and I will not do business with this guy again.
Has anyone else had any problems with this guy in the past?

I can't say I've heard many problems with him, Many people bought the toys legend Bat armory from him not sure if its been sent yet though. How much did he list it for?
The name rings a bell, maybe I have brought some stuff from him ? Cant say I have ever had any problems with buying on ebay, Yet ! I get so much stuff on ebay though its hard to remember. I dont buy whole figures though from ebay sellers, just accessories.

That sucks man. Didn't 2.0 joker come out in late February or march in Hk? And u still didn't receive than? I bought toys legend armory from him should get it by tomorrow unless its a empty box lol.

Personally I don't think you should feel "gutted" at all. You made a transaction outside of ebay (which they strongly advise against) and still got a refund. If he was going to scam you he wouldn't have given you a refund. You're not protected by ebay and its past the 45 day limit. May I ask why you took the transaction ourside of ebay?

Why do buyers do this? To save a handful of coin at the expense of leaving themselves wide open to be scammed? Pre-ordering off ebay I can understand for peeps who might be in a region where other stores won't ship or whatever... but to then take it outside of ebay? Sorry Mr A, TheFiend is right... it sucks to not have your figure after such a long wait, but at the end of the day you've got to be happy that all you lost is 7 quid.

No matter how much it looks good on Ebay in regards to **Pre-Order** price NEVER do it. The same exact thing will happen to you again, because Pay-Pal and Ebay has a timeline in regards to getting a refund claim turned in, and if you know for a fact that the item is not going to come out in less than 90-45 days you will be SOL. I had friends who got cheated out of their figures because the seller will not fulfill his order thinking he is safe. Some people can even double play the system by cheating the seller out of his money stating he never got the goods and considered the *item* lost.
Point being never pay for a figure the seller does not have in hand, unless you know it's like a month or so from release date.

Ebay needs to stop allowing sellers to PO something that never has a firm release date...really folks ordering a HT Robocop one year from release from a HK seller on Ebay? (example)...what are you thinking ......????

Scammers don't give your money back just because you asked. They disappear.
Live and learn. Don't pre-order on Ebay ... the complaint window will have passed before you know whether you got screwed. Can't figure why you're "gutted" by a $10 loss. Given how poorly you thought this thing out ... a $10 loss is a blessing.

I should be getting my second today. so i'll either be parting it out or i may just sell on the entire thing for Uk not sure yet. After having my first for a week the only extra thing i want/need is another pers head really. Im using the DX01 for interrogation and its doing the job fine. So i may sell it on and pick up a pers head off evilbay. Decisions Decisions

My Joker arrived today. They may not get their stock in as quickly as everyone else, but Collectibles Direct can be trusted. They've become my first choice for getting figures.
First thing I did was to remove that coat. It's not the fuzziness that bothers me, it's the colour. Too bright for my eyes. I replaced it with a DX01 coat I had bought earlier off eBay.
The outfit is very nice, there is some untidy stitching but overall it's a wonderful cut and fit. I had to remove the grey jacket to allow the coat to fit properly, but once that was done Joker looked very dapper. The laughing head is a bit too shiny looking, but otherwise an amazing sculpt.

Got my second in from lee today too, my laughing sculpt isn't shiny at all. Im contemplating selling it on though, thought i would want to keep the dx11 clothing for my interrogation but honestly i see no issue with my dx01 clothing
. all i'll need to do is pick up a second pers sculpt.

I was most worried about the coat. This is my first Joker and only second HT to so I had been comparing releases forever trying to pick which one seemed the best to have.
I ended up liking the face of 2.0 better but the outfit of the first one better, lol.
However, when it finally came I was pleasantly surprised, the coat isn't nearly as fluffy or neon looking as it seemed in pictures. It's definitely more colorful than the original but against screencaps it seems accurate enough to me.
Just wish the chain had been silver. But that's being really nitpicky about it.
