Interesting. I didn't even know this existed, that could definitely be an option. Does anyone have this? Wondering what the quality is like but it looks pretty good for a $50 set.

I got this set delivered this week. For the price, it's a great set. Haven't compared it to the DX2.0 but over all it's good quality and worth the price just to pose with the second sculpt and for just sitting at the table like Vortex stated. Hoping to set it up this weekend and have some pics.

I had one of these I bought at a great price ($220), but sold it because I wasn't collecting dark knight stuff. Of all things, the Alfred and Armory made me want TDK figs, so with those on the way later this year, I'm feeling like I may need to repurchase DX11 at some point. Is there still a 3.0 in the works?

I have DX08 and DX09, am getting the dx12 batman through the armory, and also the '66 Batman. Would help getting the Ledger joker is I knew there was going to be a Romero joker to go with the '66 batman.

They are likely working on a 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, ∞.

I wouldn't worry, Howard has a hard on for this guy.

Don't pay more than you have to, not worth it.

Also got my Rory sculpt in yesterday. Haven't had this figure on display for months and happy to finally have him back.

Not to be an ass, but these custom heads don't look at all better than the stock one. And that's not saying much.

Sorry, I just had to say it.

I'm with you on that. I'm envious of those with the figure, but something about that hair is throwing me off. Reminds me of a clump of seaweed on his head.

I love all the things Rory does, I'm a fan. But I'm just not feeling the Jokers hair here. I like the paint and what he did with the eyelids and nose etc. (the profile is excellent), but the hair is all wrong. Its extremely thick, long and too straight near the scalp. Ya know I love ya Rory, but that's my opinion.

Futzing..
Same head, same hair.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.
Your completely entitled to your opinion mate, we all are. I personally think para's and Holo's pics look great, they have futzed the hair the way they want to. This is not a new sculpt gents, it's the HT sculpt. And well if you think it looks better stock, than well I can't really comment further, I respect everyone's right to have their own opinion.

A general note about posting any custom figure on here though (especially DC Joker/Ledger) they will be knocked, they will be pissed on, they will never be as good as stock. That's just the way of this forum, and I'm not talking about my stuff, but pretty much all custom work. I've never seen one custom Ledger not getting pissed on, even Bobby C's. There is an obvious psychology at work, but I couldn't be arsed going into it. And I will leave it at that.

I think since we been seeing more , more real hair custom mods with a few figure's. I think eventualy real hair will be more common and eventualy the big companys should try releasing figure's with it, once it's perfected. I love the hair mod you did on the Crow figure RORY and your joker's. I recently bought a Qui gon jinn with the hair mod and love it. I dont mod much but love people modding and pushing these figure's even closer to perfection.

I guess the thing the to remember is that this is an idealised, stylised version of Joker. The HT head does not lend itself to a specific Ledger look and is too generic to create a truly film accurate look. All I have tried to do is to resculpt/make it look more like ledger, which I'm pretty happy with, improve the paint work and detail, which was pretty abysmal on the stock figure, get rid of the Googly eyes. This head could never hold blond curly hair with green tinged edges. It simply could not work. I created a proto for myself, which I got requests to reproduce, I did so and actually majorly improved many aspects of my original as I worked on these. After that well gents, I have no control, you like them great, you hate them, well that's your opinion and it's valid. But to say the stock is better is beyond my comprehension. And that really is my final comment. thanks for all the complimentary PM's and posts by the way guys. appreciated.

And here is my current Joker display (this is one of the latest heads on a modded body)..
I'm pretty happy with it. Even though I've been coughing up green hair for months..

I actually think that the moded head by Rory is the best looking head I have seen. Adams heads are great too, along with the bobby c head. The later lack for me in that bobby c head lacks posability and limits the poses with the neck and eyes being stationary. I think the Adam sculpts are well done also, but I for one love the pers, and with the mods that Rory has done, along with the pers makes this a total own for me. I absolutely hated the 2.0 head from hot toys and told myself that I would never buy it. Once I saw what Rory did, I had to have it.
