Well, my ghetto grenade rig is finished for the most part. I need to mess with the grenade placement once I get the safety pins in the mail, and maybe add a little hook for the thumb ring. Still need to twist all the grenade strings into a single strand. Its not 100% accurate, but I don't really care. I'm the only one that's ever gonna really see it.

I think that looks excellent. Mine wasn't that nice. You've even put stitching on the loops over the grenades. It's looks like you put a lot into it.

Sorry to hear that dude, but I'm afraid you're SOL, as Sideshow don't have any replacement boxes left (I tried to get one weeks ago). They'll offer you a credit or partial refund.

To be fair though, not Sideshow's fault, but rather the dumb f___ks who handled your package.

Personally, I would use a thin brush and a little bit of white acryl paint...
Just don't use a thick layer of that colour but dab a very thin amount of it onto the nose...

The nose itself is completely white on a perfectly painted figure, so you won't have any trouble to fix this little problem by yourself.

This would cause less than half the stress of sending it back to your seller and to wait for a replacement.

I can see me doing this, I'll wait for a response first but it should be an easy fix...

If I was in the US I'd get a pack-out with a DX set - what is it, an extra ten bucks? I think the best you can hope for is a discount voucher or partial refund.

alot of boxes have the tears.....just like DX12 and DX10 boxes...all direct from HT...wonderful

Man I must've lucked out. UPS dropped my box off from BBTS and it looked terrible, one corner was all taped up from being crushed, I just knew the shipper and figure box would be destroyed. Opened it up and it was MINT. I remember back when everybody was saying their DX10 and DX12 boxes were destroyed. I got both of those in fantastic shape too. I remember one had a little bit of white showing on one corner, can't remember if it was the 10 or 12, but for the most part they looked great.

Anyways, this figure is fantastic. I'm gonna have a hard time keeping him in one pose for too long!

Thanks guys! I didn't think it looked great, but I guess everyone is overly critical of their own work.

Fiend, I didn't stitch that by hand. The edges of the fabric I used were stiched, so I trimmed the edges off. Thanks for the kind words!

White Dwarf, I haven't set up the thumb ring yet, and the pins are still in the mail somewhere in China. D'oh! I didn't even look at shots from the movie... I just looked at the rig from DX01. I'll switch those up if the straps aren't too tight. Good eye!

If anyone wanted me to make them one, I could probably make it look better than this one. The materials cost next to nothing, the grenades were about $5, and the pins (that I haven't received yet) were about $13. PM me if anyone is interested. I don't pretend that my work is magnificent, so my price would be pretty reasonable.

yeah, they called and said it is what it is. send us pics and we will offer you a refund or partial credit. this wasnt done in shipping, this was done at HT. the box is ripped and all wonky, doesnt close....just a hot mess.
