I missed out on HT's Wolverine and I want one, but I would definitely rather NOT have Wolvie in this line - that's a spot that can be used for a more deserving First Class character, like Mystique or Charles. We get so little figures from these lines. The ones released need to be main characters from XM: FC.

The reason that Magneto's end costuming didn't really work is they tried way too hard to connect it McKellan's version in the originals.
Look at this:
Paint it red with a purple cape and comic stylized helmet and there you go. With Fassbender, it looks a little odd especially considering how form fitting the rest of his clothing was throughout not to mention instead of the flat cape they tried to give him the longer, more imperial cape that Magneto has in the comic which doesn't really flow with the suit but that is Singer for you. I would be shocked if Magneto came with anything but the Blue and Gold flightsuit and the Blue Shaw helmet. Anything else would be a bonus but not really expected.

I would put money that you'd get a Beast or Mystique or even a Banshee way before a Shaw. The only logical way that Shaw would be a first release is if HT was working from conceptuals where they say he is a the main villain but even then the figure would be rather plain...

But this is EXACTLY what they should do. I love the Magneto outfit I really do, but honestly people this is a Hot Toys figure of Magneto as he appeared in this movie. Using the outfit you barely see him in for more than five seconds is not an accurate representation of the character or the movie. I rather they just do his street clothes and his bodysuit as one figure release like how Barney got multiple outfits. That'd be awesome. Then they could make the helmet an exclusive or something.

It's like saying Professor X should come with a wheelchair because he is iconically a cripple and in the end of the movie he is in a wheelchair. An accurate representation of this movie would be him standing up.

True but then again we got a Bank Robber Joker and Cop Joker (along with standard DX Joker) both of which were only on screen briefly. We're also getting the MK V Iron Man outfit which is also only on screen for no more that 7 mins. I'm sure we'll get a blue and yellow Magneto and I'm sure if he sells well we'll eventually see a red version too down the line.

After seeing this movie today I'm on board for anything Hot Toys brings us. The movie was great and the line should be equally awesome.
