Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
I'd rather have the X3 version of Beast.
Beast is proving popular :yess

Making all of The Avengers is a big gamble as they are planning on having folks go "all in" where Cap is still easily available and Thor took forever to move. Black Widow wasn't all that difficult to get for a long while...
I don't really see it that way. Avengers is simply a much more popular licence than Watchemen, even if the film turns out to be weak. Some people are waiting to see which version they like better, knowing that Avengers versions of Thor and Captain America right around the corner. Then add to that the marked improvements from the 1st to 2nd version of a character in Hot Toys' past. Then factor in that weird phobia of "doll hair" that some male collectors exhibit which should not be an issue with SJ's short coiffure (i.e. it will be sculpted). And then there are the people who will buy any version of Iron Man and last but not least the Hulkamania crowd.
Other than Hawkeye and Nick Fury, every figure has some improved selling point or established niche.

While the missus is out grocery shopping its just me holding down the fort with the little ones. I popped the X:FC blu in the player and watched the finale for the first time since the theater. Damn what an exciting climax!
A freaking fine film and I can't wait to see what HT has in store. I sure hope its flight suits all the way.
I'd like to see SSC take a crack at Flight Suit Magneto as a PF with switchout helmet/non-helmet portrait.
The real trick is that "short span of time" for some is anywhere from a quarter to six months.
The fact people know it will eventually be complete will in theory drive sales of figures that some people might otherwise pass on.
Ok, I posted this in the Hot Toys Wolvie forum, but I don't think it is read that often...so maybe I'll get an answer here...
I am looking to make a custom 1/6 Wolvie.
I'm not sure what clothes work best with the HT true type Muscular Caucasian body though, anybody have know a specific retailer or place to get quality 1/6 clothing that will work with him?
I'm getting a custom battle damaged head from ebay - bullet holes revealing the adamantium beneath his forehead.
I really want to outfit him in some combat attire, like some cargo pants (camo or khaki), combat boots black or brown, and a undershirt/tank with a long sleeve shirt over top that I can roll up the sleaves on...I know this is very specific...
but I don't want to buy clothes that don't work on the muscular body... any help will be appreciated! Also I didn't know if the Indian Jones from the recently released HT figure would work on him, not the shoes, just the longsleeve shirt and pants (maybe)...
I'd rather have the X3 version of Beast.
Has hope been lost again? They said in that Milk Magazine interview that they were focusing on Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil and have no other plans... Then they announce Batman Arkham City, which basically undermines the whole interview
