Well now it makes sense why they delay with metal gear and they other figures they announced last year, X men and Green Lantern, they are switching up there release schedule to take advantage of the Movie release.

So as most of us predicted that the next release would be one of the summer movies following that logic TDKR or Amazing Spiderman should be next.

Amazing Spider-Man was announced, last summer. No news either.

Maybe I am in the minority, but here is how I perceive things.


Hot Toys Announces a License - this means they have the legal rights to make something related to that license. It doesn't mean anything else. I doesn't mean we better see a figure within 12 months or any period of time outside the ownership of the license.


Hot Toys teases a Figure - This means a particular figure is going to me made and release. Usually, pre-orders for that particular figure teased happen within a week or two. This is the norm and something we as fans may want. But that is certainly not a guarantee nor something we should expect.


Hot Toys Announces a pre-order - ( KINDA OBVIOUS ) to me, this is happy time. We get to see what the figure looks like and PO it if we want.



I look at things this way. Whether I am right or wrong, its working for me. I look forward to every license announcement, teaser, pre-order and delivery. I'd love to have some X-Men, Bad guys from Spiderman, and Green Lantern and more. But until we get those, I'm lovin' all that is being made!

True, but they don't hold said rights indefinitely. They pay a certain amount to have the rights to produce merchandise for that license for X amount of years. It seems like if they paid the money, they would want to USE it. Time is running out on this one, I doubt we'll get anything, personally. It seems the window for a successful release is shrinking. I hope I'm proved wrong.

So you've read their contract with Marvel, eh?

Time is running out on this one, I doubt we'll get anything, personally. It seems the window for a successful release is shrinking. I hope I'm proved wrong.

It was loosely translated to "someone in a wheelchair?" implying Charles Xavier (as he ends up in a wheelchair)

I'm worried that any figures from this line will even come out. I mean the figures that are finished have been delayed months. I sincerely hope they at least make a magneto.
