I'm droppin' the hammer on this.

Finally watched the movie last night, poor character development, very unlikely people cast for "crazies, scum-o-the-earth" exept Machete and the Russian...Royce...cummon' piano-playin' mo fo. Very similar to Bale's proformance of B.Wayne, over the top fake gruff voice.

but the Black Pred was bad ass.

imo he is feeling what 99.9% of you guys would feel when you actually have the figure in hand. Ok I lie, of course not 99.9%, but you guys know that feeling that overcomes you when you get a highly anticipated figure in hand and smell that newly opened HT figure smell and see all the intricate details on the figure.

And no, the figure is not perfect and the pointed out flaws exist. I for one am not getting this figure, but for other other reasons such as that I can't afford to get it lol...

no offense taken actually been quite a while that the arguments were pretty much over, until someone brought it up again (I won't tell, but the name starts with Reaktwon). In any case, you are right. This'll go on over and over so to the HT apologists: let's just agree to disagree. We can't change your views as much as you really can't do anything to see your view as being correct

I think he is just trying to point out that we jump at the smallest blury picture and praise this figure to death, then we see another picture and we cry bloody murder, then the figure is released and 70% of us still get it despite all of this.

Anyways, I think you guys just have too much time (since the figure is not here yet) so we argue over these things. And don't get me wrong, I'm in the camp that says we have and should complain as much as we want because we are the consumers. But at the same time, isn't it funny that literally, 70% of all us will still go and get this despite all the GLARING INACCURACIES. So Reaktwon makes a valid point in that "hypnotize graphic" post (but simply doesn't explain it) - we will still buy it because we act as if there were no other choice.

But who can blame us? Not getting Berserker might mean not getting Falconer, which means not being able to complete the sweet ass 1/6 Predators line.

Does it look good? Yes. Does it look great? Yes. But is it accurate? Not really, no. Is it worth $200 after they secretly shrank it without fixing it before release? Hells, no.

After collecting a few figures from them, you start to have certain expectations of HT. And when they fail to even touch them (when it's not a licensing issue or anything like that), it's pretty disappointing. Even worse when they let us know their only justification for jacking up the price is no longer there -- AFTER the figures have already been shipped. That was low, even for a business.

There are 2 valid reasons for this... and the price is not directly HT's fault/control:
1) Gouging by Sideshow/distributor (Berserker is priced around USD175-180 by others)
2) Low USD value in exchange rate

Countries like Japan/New Zealand/Australian are actually paying less for Berserker than they did for Predator 1. So they are actually paying less for a "less" figure that was initially advertised as more/bigger.

True, but P1 was $170 on Sideshow and around the same price in other places. At least I think he was...

Buying the figure while complaining that Hot toys is stealing your money is a tad bit hypocritical. I know the figs isn't 100% accurate, but it still looks fantastic and I think that should be the primary consideration. I think it's worth the money, but would I like to get it for $50 less? Sure! Who wouldn't. But the fact that it isn't won't deter me from buying him. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a huge fan of Hot Toys, what's wrong with that? What is the problem with people showing loyalty to Hot Toys for giving them loads of products that bring them great joy? The biggest proponents are buying him, and the rest are happy with him and don't feel like they are being fleeced by Hot Toys. I don't see what all the fuss is about. Anyway, no hard feeling guys, I just don't share your concerns and think people like Iampotch are being overly dramatic and inflammatory.

This is all too funny, I just went back 4 pages to see what you guys been debating over and it had to be one person to bring up ol' ****. Height? Dread length? Armor strap placement on abs inaccurate? Accessories? This is never gonna end lol!! What more of accessories should he have? A Spear? Sword? Smart disc? Shurikin? Whip? From what I saw in the film he had a skull & spine in his hand and maybe throw in a classic skull and that's about it. All the other preds in other movies came w/ all that accessories because they had it in the movie, this Pred didn't have any of that so there goes you lack of accessories. So what perhaps a different base?? Wow some accessory. You guys are right maybe a $20 drop in price should compensate!

It does look good next to the other 2 HT. Is bigger & taller mean the same?? I think it looks bigger mass wise even though they are they look they same height. I wonder if that's what HT meant as it being "bigger" & not "taller" like I assumed at first. Damn HT clever choice if words!

But it's still not accurate....really? Because of a missing jaw, I think most untrained eyes are not going to notice that, maybe most of us but come bro. I agree the classic skull should come with him as well, I'm not sure about the spear that was used for a sec to kill that mustafa guy. Why have it?
