I plan on it. I ordered it from SSC and their customer service answering machine says their vacation is over tomorrow so I'm hoping they can let me exchange the figure.

They're great with product issues, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting it replaced with a new one. But I'm bummed to hear your light didn't work also. I'll be getting mine replaced too. But the outlook on getting one with a functioning light seems unlikely at best. The question is, would you keep one without a functioning light? I don't know, myself. I mean, it'd be difficult to sell/trade later if one wanted to. And I don't plan on using the light up feature much, but I would like to be able to when I do.

If I end up getting sent a new Berseker and can't get the new lighting to work, at that point I'll just be satisfied with what I do have. My biggest problem is my Berserker's wrist computer being broken. If it wasn't for that I would have set this guy up and been completely satisfied with the figure. The light is good to have like you said if you think you might sell the figure sometime down the road. I don't have many expensive items, but I can't remember ever selling an action figure from my collection. I just can't bring myself to part with anything, and I know this isn't a good thing. I've got boxes full of Star Wars and G. I Joe action figures that may never see the light of day again, I just can't bring myself to let them leave my possession.

Take a flat head and push the metal contact to the right a little, make it where that battery fits in tight, then gently lie the battery onto of the contact slightly on the right and that it makes contact with the middle contact that the battery hits, slowly slide the cover onto so that the battery doesn't move.

I would keep the switch on the "on" position while doing this, therefore you can test whether the contacts are working or not.

Welcome to the forum Sovereign Entity. If the light doesn't work when your replacement arrives, Skiman's advice here helped another board member get his to work. Maybe you could give it a try.

It's because I am in a U.S. military family, so the post office at our local U.S, base was open I also get shipping from the states for roughly $15

I am thinking of starting to order stuff by request for people over here, because I got the Berserker over here for just less than £130, which I'm guessing is a steal compared to the shipping prices to U.K addresses

Yeah £130 is nice, i paid about £160 for mine inc P&P but ive had him several weeks now.

I am a Art student, I already have a Sony Alpha 230 (It's nice qualtity camera)...
