I've had this guy boxed up for a long time, recently took him out and sadly I think the paint has gotten worse. I really don't get why HT in the first place decided not to paint the freaken scales. I mean seriously, he's $200.

Anyway, i'm not quite sure but it looks like around where the red and black meet, they're getting mixed up or something..the colors are blending. And it looks like more of the paint is missing...

Mine has been out of box for month or 2 and has been moved by me plenty of times and I see no difference in the paint at all... I dont know about all the people who say the paint is rubbing off maybe they just handle there Preds far to hard???

I haven't heard of anyone's paint rubbing off. I'm always as gentle as possible with my figures, he's been in the box for around.. 3-4 months.

Hey fellas could I ask for some advice? I'm kind of on the fence about this guy. Not because he isn't awesome but because I've never bought a predator before (gasp!) Anyways, I work close to a store that's carrying him at 200 bucks. Plus Illinoise evil sales tax that will be around 220. Is that too high a price? Also, I heard rumors of the light in his helmet not working. Anyone have that issue? Any and all info is appreciated.

Pick him up now . That's an average price for when he first came out . But now he will be more . I would buy berserker for 220$

Thanks for the advice. How does he compare to the earlier predator hot toys figs? I thought about getting an earlier model figure but their prices are out of my budget now. I noticed earlier figs were cheaper when they first came out. Is the quality better now?

The new Preds all have a new improved body, and there quite impressive. The thing is the new bodies have less articulation than the earlier Preds. Berserker is a great figure and you wont be disappointed.

GET IT ASAP. It's an amazing figure, the light-up isn't even that cool.. You'll probably never use it. The articulation is fine, the figure looks a hundred times better than the previous releases.

I got my buddy at the retailer holding onto one for me. Thanks for the advice fellas. He does look to be my favorite predator that's come out so far. The red really adds to the detail of the character making him pop. And I must say I'm disappointed he's the only one who's bio is removeable from the newer film. If they were all removeable I'd probably be after Falconer. I know you don't see their faces in the movie and Hot Toys probably doesn't have permission to make their own but still. The fact that he's huge also sold me on this guy. I used to collect 3A but their humanoid figures don't impress me like this one does. He's definately going to be one of my favorite pieces in my collection. I can't wait!

He's probably the best proportioned and has the most body detail of any hot toys predator to date. The amazing thing is that he is still available on some online websites and has not sold out yet. Falconer is already sold out most everywhere but berserker is still available, which is kind of strange being that berserker is the better figure between the two IMO.

Depends on the person who is buying...:lecture

If Falconer's bio was removeable he probably would have been my favorite with Berserker a close second. But since it doesn't I've gotta go with Berserker. Thank god for those 2 minutes of the film with his mask off eh? I may still buy a falconer if I find it cheap enough but it'll have to be after my budget recovers.

I don't really care about the whole face issue.. I don't want to display a bunch of clones. Erm, unless they're from Star Wars.

Falconer is the better figure IMO because he doesn't have the paint scrapes.

I still need to pick up Falconer before he skyrockets in price!

Anyways I'm also surprised Berserker hasn't sold out yet. He is easily my most commented on figure in my whole collection and he is such a great figure!

He doesn't have the paint scrapes because he has way less paint detail compared to Berserker. Falconer colors are a boring Green and white with nothing else. There is no comparison between the two when it comes to paint body detail-Berserker wins hand down IMO.
