A.) Everyone starts somewhere.

B.) 11 100% Positive is better than 1 or 0.

C.) My ass is covered, sellers are the ones who should be worried. If he ____ed me I'd just get a refund.

D.) His feedback so far is perfect and he's sold plenty of HT figures (Iron Man, Predator, etc)

E.) I can't wait. If something goes wrong I still have my Sideshow and Toys2 orders to fall back on.

:exactly:

and congrats, my friend :rock

Unless he drains his paypal and bank accounts. EBay/Paypal ain't gonna refund you on their dime. I'm also iffy about folks without much feedback, even if what feedback they have is positive.

im always iffy about sellers with low feedback too but always figured i could just get a refund if i did get stung....never thought about that though.
having said that, i always go for sellers with at least 300 sales and good feedback ratings anyway.

Well if that scenario were to happen (I've been on ebay for awhile, it won't) I'd lol...then cry. THEN order another one someplace else.

$228 shipped was easy to swallow. No matter where we get it, we're going to most likely pay around $200 or over. This ain't no Hot Toys Spider-Man. My preorders so far are in the $180/190ish range so of course I wasn't going to turn my nose up at $180 plus shipping.

Looking at that specific guy's feedback now, I would feel pretty confident too, Fabio. He's been a member since July and has consistently been selling stuff. That tells me he has started to develop a little business and has an incentive to keep doing right by customers.

I'm just an overly skeptical customer I guess. I've been burned more than once by not taking proper precautions. There are some ____ers out there that still have my money for 2 Hot Toys Joker pre-orders.

Damn, that sucks man.

With 235 feedback points, I've obviously been in a few sour transactions as well. Both as a seller and a buyer. But I've never lost money.

Though, I must say. I don't ____ with pre-orders on ebay. If they don't have the item in hand, I'm not messing around with them.

Yeah, I usually only go with well known retailers for pre-orders (Sideshow, BBTS, Viking Playground, etc.). I may do a pre-order with eBay once in a blue moon. But only taking lots of care checking out the seller. And even then, if the item isn't on its way in 30 days, I get my money back. Best to pay when an item is in-stock.

does this T 800 have the same body like the T 800 from terminator 2? anyone know

Yup.
I dont know if anyone knows for sure, but it makes sense.
I also believe the T2 body was actually designed with this T1 figure in mind, seeing as its the perfect build for a T1 arnie...and slightly too big for T2 arnie.

That's what I figure, the body is just over bulked for T2, with the attention they give to bodies in most cases, I think they just went with some body that was in between the T1 and T2 physiques. It definitely better suits T1, this figure looks perfect in build and proportions.

HT improved on the body.... the rubber portion of the torso has been changed, on T2 the shoulder portion is recessed, looks better (nude) now.

Youre right. The area just under the chest is different too.
I truly didnt expect any changes to the body at all.
Good job HTs.

That does look nice. May need to upgrade the body on my Commando Custom fig because the shoudlers are noticeable.

Heres a pic of both bodies.
T2 on the left, T1 on the right.

Note that the size of the pictures is not accurate.
I just quickly resized the T2 body to be roughly the same size as the T1.

Wonder what prompted them to make the change, it's not like any T1 or T2 film look reveals that area. Cool though, does look nicer.
