Badass...

Congrats! Cant wait to have that T1 T-800 :)

Any pics show up yet with the damaged head on the MM1 body?

Not yet.

On a different matter entirely though, in the Police Shootout scene, Arnie had his leather jacket unzipped, but after the "You got a dead cat in there or what?" scene, he walks out, with his jacket zipped up halfway. And then after that, I really couldn't tell.

So the question here is though, why haven't I seen anyone zipping up their Terminator's jackets? MM02 or T2.

Thanks Tim :D

Hope you get yours soon! However, once I got him on hand, I must say the T2 T800 is slightly better than T1 overall. Mainly the clothes area fit better, as opposed to the T1's jacket. Plus the boots of T1 is too stiff, making him stand a bit odd.

Im not quite sure what you mean.
The clothes look perfect on the T1.
Awesome pics by the way!

Agreed, they look to fit him the same as the actual costume on Arnie. I actually feel like the T1 is a more faithful representation of the T-800 from the screen than the T2 figure.

agreed.
if anything, the t2 jacket doesnt have the right fit IMO...looks too small maybe?
but i think the clothes look like they fit the T1 perfect.

The thing that stands out to me as having room for correction is the hair on the damaged head, this photo shows it a bit too close to his T2 look, but it wasn't so much a buzz cut look, there was a roundness to his hair post burning.

It wouldn't ruin a Police figure to be like it is now, it woudl just be nice to have it a bit more distinguished from T2, especially having both figures.

Awesome, cheers bud.

Yeh people have been mentioning the boots, but mine will just be standing there anyway so no probs.

Don't think he will take the T2 T800's Crown for me either. :D

I find the T2 coat's 2 main issues are that it doesn't come around the front of his body as much as it should, though the paperclip helps with that, and the material's too thick looking at the collar. Now, it's a figure, and I don't care, I don't expect they'd be able to get it perfect, I'm just saying, I spot more immediate issue in the overall look of the T2 figure than the T1, the T1 figure looks like Arnie jumped off the screen to me.

Good point, I think. More screen accurate hair would also distinguish that figure from the BD headsculpt we have here. However, those gargoyles and futzing the jacket would make a world of difference, even if you just used the head they give us here.

yup, im not complaining either, the T2 figure is ____ing badass!!!
the only main issues i have with the T2 is that the body is slightly too bulky(which is the cause of the "small/tight" jacket imo)
and the head is too squashed.
and yeah, the material is slightly too thick, but im sure that cant be helped at this scale.
the T1 is just way more accurate in terms of body size, clothes fit and head sculpt(although still ever so slightly squashed but better than T2s size and sculpt overall)
but still, im 100% happy with my T2 and i will be 110% happy with my T1.:)

Exactly, they're figures, they can't perfectly look like what was on screen, there will always be limits of sort that hold it back from being spot on, but some figures end up looking closer than others and in this case, T1 edges out T2 just a bit.

Ultimately, we're very fortunate that HT is doing these now, even just a couple of years ago these wouldn't have been this good, let alone compared to the original T-800 HT did. The production paint and clothing today is just insane.

Hydeous, congratulations on being,I would imagine, the first person in England to own this(mines still at Heathrow last time I checked) and many thanks for posing it beside the Endo. The only Hot Toys figure im really gutted I missed out on,everyone is saying do a new one and that, but I do nt know, this still looks superb to me.i ve got the "Toy Island" version, the Kenner talking T2,but not the greatest ever made.Bizarre.
