Thanks everyone. Yeah I went a bit nuts with these things, despite once telling myself I would only do it with the smaller, cheaper NECA figures. Most definitely won't be doing this with any 1/4 scale line though.

One day I'd like to add a few diorama backdrops, bases and set pieces to break up the monotony of a bunch of only slightly different figures standing there.
Mr. Ecko, eventually I would still love to get a T2 'No Fate' picnic table off you for Sarah Connor if you'd still be up for the task and a bit of money. I can't afford it right now though. I'm also signed up for TFG's T1 arm surgery table&chair plus the various tabletop acoutrements and another idea I had was a simple footpath/kerb for my 'just standing there' Tech Noir T-800 when you first see him in the punk clothes. A bathroom sink and wall mirror would also be perfect for the eye surgery T1 (and Predator 2 actually).

Olbertfrog, I'm not sure where the SPAS is from. All I know is its not the all-plastic one that came with the MMS02 HT figure.

They shoulda done that regardless of EB. But the Enterbay release won't harm the chances.

BD T 800 from T2- I think it is inevidible- they will go all out to "answer" EB T 800.
Hope HT resumes Terminator line next year but they'll be so loaded with Avengers and DKR alone....we'll see.

yeah, i hope hot toys gets challenged enough to put out the BD T2. if iron monger and CR Superman came true, the BD T2 is cake. (well, not really)

I built my own Police shoot out T1 T-800 custom, I figured at the rate things were going building my own was the only way I was going to have one. Now after months I'm looking back on it (like I did my Dutch custom) and I'm feeling kind of done with it.

Do you think it's worth a chance to sell it and wait for a real HT version, or just hold on to it?

Custom biker jacket from EBay (shirt, belt and pants from set not used)
Grey t-shirt from some odd ball figure
T1 T-800 pants, boots, and stand
Dragon model SPAS12 shotgun
Aoshima Endo AR18 machine gun
Sideshow Cobra Sniper duo trigger hands & I have the gloved trigger hands from the T1 T-800 and all three pair of the T2 T-800 hands.

My only problem with letting it go is losing some ($) of what I've got in it.

Yeah a-dev has the best Terminator collection here it seems,well as far as HT goes. All I have to do is raid his and voids house and Ill have the best Terminator/Nolan Bats collection evaaahhh!!!! Those are the only 2 lines I collect

And to the bit in bold, yeah maybe. I am of course aware that many would consider my collection a tad ridiculous and samey which is fair enough. This is just me, I'm not interested in statues, busts or 1:1 replicas....well I'd love a lifesize endoskeleton but if I ever get something like that its years away when I've stopped buying figures. Poseable figures is always where its been at for me though and what better ones to buy than the 1/6 Hot Toys and if you're still into the smaller stuff the NECA ones.

It looks good. If as you say you're "done with" it then you might aswell sell it and maybe hopefully get an official HT one if they ever find the time to go back to Terminator. As for maybe not getting back as much money on it...well the AR-18 could be a strong hook for someone to buy it as those are tough to get.

Collect what you like, the hell with what anyone else thinks. I'd sell all my HT Terminators before the Sideshow T-800 legendary bust, and i love the figures but that bust is the prize of my T2 collection.
