Sweeney box isn't really big and heavy. The dio is just a piece of cardboard. BL DX04 is the largest/heaviest I have seen lately. Toys2 quoted me nearly 300$ to ship Ghost Rider which is nonsense. Got it shipped to Europe from china for 53$ EMS.

Some of these dealers need to stop being so dishonest IMO.

A friend of mine just got this in, and I have to say that this figure is amazing! I found out the hard way that Sweeny doesn't have the movable eyes feature. I don't understand why HT didn't include it when they've done it in previous figures. The hair is so misleading! It looked removable!

well PERS is specifically for DX figures so since this isn't classified as a DX, even with it's plethora of accessories, it wouldn't have PERS like a DX. I like PERS but I personally don't think this figure needs it. I do agree though that the seam is a bit unsightly. I don't have it in hand yet but from pics, it does look a bit obvious and not well hidden. The only very minor nitpick that I have about this figure is that seam in the hair. But, it's shear awesomeness trumps tat nitpick every time

IMO, the PERS is just a feature they introduced in order to milk the popular characters like the Joker/Batman once more at the time.

With the Joker DX, they've shown that they can fit 4 layers of clothing better than what they've put out with Todd. But they're not trying to sell this as an improvement to a previous figure, so they don't have to go all out.

Not saying they didn't do a good job with the Todd, but just because they've improved their technique, doesn't mean they go all out and make the full use of it with every release.

I'm not sure what's happened with my Todd, I still haven't received it yet. Normally it arrives on the third day after it's left Hong Kong, and it's the 5th day now and counting. I'll have to wait through the weekend if it doesn't arrive later today. Getting impatient!

I gave Alter Ego a try, and it wants $83 for international shipping. :cuckoo:

BBTS is asking for around $72, but I remembered it wasn't anywhere this high before it had it in stock. Do BBTS up the price to what it actually is when they charge you in the end? Because if so, I may as well cancel my Jack Sparrow order with them, because it's not worth paying this much for shipping when I can get which costs less to ship from eBay through Hong Kong.

I haven't ordered from BBTS prior to this.

If it's any help, my Sweeney Todd costed me $75 for international shipping from US to Australia. It was only sent yesterday but I was told the approximate box weight is around 10 Lbs.

The price BBTS is asking for shipping sounds right to me.

Hey, I'm from Australia too.

Yeah, that's kind of why I'm considering pulling my pre-order for the Jack Sparrow DX. With that huge piece of prop included, it's probably going to weigh about the same as Todd, and it's just cheaper to pick up off eBay instead of pre-ordering from a US based site.

Getting Todd with Spidey, s/h cost $97 via USPS Express Mail International! Keeping in mind the weight of both the boxes, I understand the shipping charge would be around this much, but its like :horror

Another Aussie here throwing in his 2 cents. BBTS has their pile of loot system which combines shipping and they hold stuff for up to 180 days. So if you're willing to wait on your figures you're better of going that route cos you can save some money on shipping.

Just got this guy last night and he's absolutely fantastic! Just an amazing display piece once everything is set up. Im in complete awe with him. It makes me even more giddy for the DX Sparrow, Ichabod Crane and the future of the HT Depp figure line! HT really nailed this out of the park. Just WOW.
