Not that it really needs to be said, but isn't the point of a mask to obscure the person's identity :huh :lol

Although, I showed the pictures to my wife who wasn't aware a Captain America movie was coming out and she was able to recognize the actor. So I figure that's a fairly good litmus test.

What... you can't tell me that Reeve as Clark Kent looks anything like Reeve as Superman. Those glasses and hair curl are the perfect disguise :lol

I would say Red Skull is pretty likely... he would not be an overly complicated figure and certainly well w/in HT abilities.

I'm not a huge fan of his movie look though, so that would be one I'd have to decide about after seeing the movie.

*Sigh* what could have been...

:D :lol

Looks exactly like Evans in the helmet to me. Half his face, his eyebrows, and his jaw line are obscured. That's enough to make anyone generic looking.

damn that suit looks awesome. looks so damn thick i bet that figure is sweating in it right now...........:wink1:

Sorry but the headsculpt, helmet or not, is the most important aspect of a figure to me. And I don't see Chris Evans as Captain America there at all. I have to pass this and save for Keaton and Solid Snake.

This is true. Although people are saying "Evans still looks like Evans with the mask on" in the trailer/photos etc, the fact is some of his distincitve features as you mentioned are being covered, so it's hard to translate in sculpt form (and what features normally stand out to the spectator have been obscured as you mentioned). In addition to this, what we are left with is "fine evenly spaced features", and although I was 1 to mention he looks like Brad Pitt, as some reviewers have said ie. Michael Crawford (although not in relation to this sculpt/thread), these "good looking" actors don't have much to "set their face apart". So different people are going to see different "leading" actors.. but this figure is just awesome, they've done a fine job.

Shield reflection is my most concern(It shine like a glass not like a metal). It will be a problem when taking photo.
