It would be funny if Sideshow responds to me with something like the figure being sold out with no additional stock. That would be awesome :rotfl
 
I got charged on the 5th like they said, but no ship notice yet. I'm a firm believer that if you get charged for something, it should at least ship that day. I don't go to the grocery store and spend $350 on groceries to have them say I can come pick them up a few days later. And I don't buy the "we're processing thousands of orders by hand" crap, either. Well fine, when your hands find my order to ship, then your hands can find my card I have on record. It's that simple. Lots of other places don't charge until it ships, so why charge any of us before it ships?
 
^ they dont have them, read my post from last night when I was on chat with them. Total bs for charging everyone when they can not complete the transaction because they dont have product. She wasnt even sure that they would be able to ship this week.
 
I agree with you guys. Charging our credit cards before they even ship the figures, let alone having stock in their warehouse is just wrong, and it does go against their own company policy. I've shopped with them many times before and I've never experienced something like this.

They should give us free pack-out shipping upgrades, or something else for the trouble.

FYI --ANYBODY wondering when cap ships ? SIDESHOW has it listed SHIPPING WILL HAPPEN 4 to 5 days after last flexpayment so payed monday shipping friday .............
 
I didn't FLEX pay, and I didn't know they were charging people when they don't have the stock to fill the orders. Completely piss-poor practice for a "reputable" company that has been doing this a long time. Now what? Are we going to get messages saying "sorry, but you're being converted to the wait list. Your funds have been refunded. Sorry for any inconvenience." That's a good way to irk people and make them not purchase from you in the future.
 
I think that I completely mis-read sprig's post initially, and now I'm not sure what is going on. The item is listed as "pre-order." There should be no waitlist as of this time. Sideshow charging a bit before shipping is no issue from my POV, as long as it ships soon.
