Not sure if this is a repost but i was just playing around with CA with different poses and I found that the clip on the Thompson machine comes out and you can see the bullet

Problem, one of the straps on my shield came loose, what would be the best type of glue to use? Would just plain super glue work? Without damaging the rubber.

It should be fine. Just use it very sparingly. If you plop too much on there, it'll make that area all hard and inflexible. A drop about the size of a pinhead should be plenty enough.

And never use that crap on cloth. Go to a hobby shop and get fabric glues, leather glues, etc. it drives me up a wall when people post that they've used super glue on their figures cloth outfits.

Just saying.

Just watched TFA again last night and noticed the helmet has a bit more sheen in the movie than the figure has.

I was thinking of putting some matte sealer on it to see how it looks.

Has anyone done this or thought of doing this?

someone has done it and posted images in this thread. I was like a month after release. They also did a battle damage mod to the shield, looked really cool although I do prefer the matte look HT gave it.

Remy did it with his:
CAPmod 2.0.
As much as I love the first mod to the helmet, I think I may have applied a little bit too much gloss. Since I'm not a pro at modding, In trying to apply it evenly, I ended up with several coats.
So I bought another head from a fellow freak in this board and this time applied it moderately.
I think I like this one better. Definitely looks closer to the film

With the USO/Rescue version, this, and Avengers Cap, it's going to make a pretty cool progression display ala the marks of the Iron Man line. Can't wait.

I was thinking the same thing. I think the CA progression line will make for a more interesting collection than even the Iron Man line, and hopefully, it won't break the bank.
