wow. i thought we're already past this. i thought milla alice already set the standard for ht's female 1/6. i thought future female figs are going to be better from alice onward. i thought wrong. alice is one step forward, these sucker punch dolls is 3 steps back. ugh!

Wow are we spoiled. 10 years ago you wouldn't get a figure that touched this. We fanboys and fangirls really need to pipe down sometimes. lol

Remember you can't make the stuff that they roll out (or else you would be the one doing so), so in some ways one should be happy with the product which is already good or simply do not buy and move along.

Figure looks good to bad the movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The actresses were the only reason I was able to watch or look at it.

I wished it had a better body would be my only critique. That is too doll like for a body. I mean HT hits the male bodies and how clothes flow down on them. They can make both lean and bulky muscular bodies that look real. I wished her curves were more real, even though the actress that plays Baby Doll has really no curves to speak of. hehe

if you're going to judge everything by the standard of 10 years ago, then nobody will find a reason to complain about anything. get with the time please. and that last sentence in your post is the most cliched defense i've heard used over and over again in this site to counter a criticism.

free forum. dont like it, dont read it. see? i can do that too. :wink1:

Agreed. The sculpt is on the door step of being dead on. Hopefully, next week I can figure out what exactly for me would need to be tweaked but I might orders this (despite the rooted hair) because HT is most likely to tweak it.

I think what is throwing it off is the roundness of Emily's face and her eyes are much more rounder and her lips are fuller.

You can see what I'm talking about in Megacolor's comparisson pic...

I still like the figure overall but it could use some tweaks.

:exactly::goodpost::clap. I'm getting pretty disgusted by all the whining. Months and months go by without any info. People believe the line isn't going to happen. People begging for it to happen. We finally get pictures and half of the responses vary between they need some fine tuning, which is ok, to they suck which is a damn shame. I don't plan on getting them but they look great.

You're right. Humans never advance in short periods of time so we shouldn't expect product standards to improve.

I am getting this as is. If they can improve on it, then "yay" but personally this his heaps better than any female offering we have had in the past. Maybe not heaps better, but definitely an improvement, and with the little to no critical and box office success this film received we should be happy to get anything... period!

for what it's worth, i think the rooted hair works fine this time. it adds to the realism, instead of giving it a doll vibe.

I think she and Amber look amazing. I am very happy that they decided to use doll hair. If they make Blondie or (please)Sweet Pea, I hope they continue to use doll hair. I also can't wait to see the new body they made for these figures.

According to Nielsen's videoscan for blu ray/dvd releases - Sucker Punch has been number one in sales for two weeks now. That sounds like it's doing pretty well.

Season of the Witch has sold almost as many as SP, so that's not saying much.

I found that if you tweak the facial features a bit, the face shape seems rounder, without having to actually edit the face shape itself :D
