IMO - He's a was interesting well acted but underused character from a below average movie, who unfortunately had only about 12 minutes of screen time.

Just curious did RR mention anywhere that due to Fishburnes schedule they only had a day or less to work with him in this movie?

There must be a reason for using him only brieifly.

Although they've denied it, they originally intended Noland to be Dutch. They wrote a small number of cameos for Arnold, this one and the one that has Dutch appear at the end with a team of Predators are the only ones known so far. To entice Arnie into the film, he'd have had the choice of which one they'd use and the fact that as Governor he'd only have a very limited time to film his scene(s). In the end Arnie turned them down and they opted to go for Fishburne.

Theres rumours that Arnies people demanded that he'd only do the film if Dutch was killed off, may be they decided on that particular scene before Arnie finally said no?

Received mine yesterday from OSB (in an armored box which can be dropped from the 20th floor and will be intact and make a hole on the ground, as usual :D ), and I'm very happy with this figure! So many accessories one can't even decide which ones to use, amazingly accurate head, great looking figure, and unique :) .

:exactly:yup great unique figure

There hasn’t been to many recent reviews on YOUTUBE for this guy.

He has been on my mind probably because it is a quite time for me and my HT interests. I think if I hold my breath long enough for DX T-800, Noland will be forgotten.

If you're going to choose between the two, hold off for the T800, especially if you don't have the previous release.

Any comparisons of the body with others?

Also, I'm confused by the skin tone. It almost looks caucasian on ebay sometimes. How light or dark is the skin tone? Is it close to the Sparrow skin tone?

I have it and it looks the correct tone to me.

What's the correct tone? Correct for Fishburn?

I get that, but do you think this figure body would work for a caucasian figure or is the tone too dark for that?

No, it would be too dark for a caucasian. It's definitely a black man's body, and to me the color seems correct to represent the person it represents.

OK, cool, thanks. I'm building a custom and thought this might be a good substitute for the Barney body, but not if I have to paint the whole thing. Appreciate the response.

I think for obvious reasons this is a :goodpost:

:wink1:

Is this figure worth the purchase?

If you don't mind the character in the movie not being that great, and instead take it for the amazing and unique figure it is in the Predator universe, definitely worth it! :lecture

And he's now in a Detolf close to his friends doing his job: looking awesome in a nice pose! :D In fact right now it's a bit weird as he's next to 1/6 Piccard and Data from Dragon Models :lol. But the other Predators figures are in that same Detolf with him, looking proud! :yess:

I've decided I'm going pick this up but I must buy the Shadow Predator 1st this month & I'll pick up Noland next month.

SOLD! Every post on this page has convinced me to get this guy. Just picked up a brand new one on ebay for less than £90.00!!!!! :peace

My Noland arrives tomorrow and I can't wait. The human Predator and all around untrustworthy antagonist ! :yess:
