I wouldn't go that far. If this were a sculpt of another well known black actor I'd probably say ''looks more like SLJ'' but since it is supposed to be SLJ I have to say it looks 'off'

Because of the eyepatch, glare, and outfit. It really doesn't look very much like SLJ at all. It looks like Nick Fury, but not his Nick Fury, if that makes sense. It looks like an angry black bald male cosplaying as Nick Fury from the upcoming Avengers movie. It's like how you recognize someone is dressed as Jack Sparrow and you say "Wow you look spot on!" but you really aren't saying "Wow you look just like Johnny!"

the price is fair considering 6" figures are now 14.99-17.99 and 4" figures are 9.99...prices go up and people have been complaining for ages...the prices still went up...go figure

I don't think its a mirror image, but if you think its unrecognizeable, YOU'RE SMOKIN' SOME GOOD S#@*!

It resembles him quite a bit!

all i have to say if SLJ came over these people houses wearing his Nick Fury outfit, people would still complain he isnt movie accurate....

Plus, we all know, it will look different once it comes out than the proto

If/when HT goes back and improves this sculpt for the final product you'll see what people mean.

BY FAR the most accurate post all day!

I was searching through some older threads the other day, 2007-2010, and laughed my a** off.

-At $130 a figure, people were complaining about the price.
-Tons of complaints about the head sculpts not being accurate.
-plenty of gripes about the accessories.
-and no lack of criticism about choice of production products.

I guess some things will never change.

It looks as much like him as the Christopher Reeve prototype looked like Christopher Reeve - and the final product turned out much better and then suddenly everyone could see how the old one was off.

People are commenting on what they see. Its what the forum is for.

I'm digging the sculpt, it has a little attitude unlike the typical blank expression. In regards to 100% accurate everyone will have opinions BUT Wolverine is my bestest figure in da whole wide world and it isn't 100% Jackman. That said, I want to add this figure but not dropping $190 for it. Game on!

I did NOT complain about HT Supes protos, defended the HT Indy protos, said HT Jack Sparrow was brilliant, thought HT Cap was great from get go but my oh my this NF is FAR from HT's better work, yeah somewhat like SLJ but NOT very close like HT got the Reeve and Sparrow sculpts- and for me because he is a guy in black wearing a black trenchcoat the SCULPT takes on MUCH bigger importance in getting my money...

Exactly. Some people seem to think that because you think the likeness is off your opinion is that the whole figure sucks. Speaking for myself I've already expressed how awesome I think this figure looks.

IMO the sculpt is a part (big) just not everything in a fig. HT missed Wolverine and Indy sculpts however, the essence of the character shines through making them worthwhile purchases to me. I think Fury is the same, my task is finding the lowest possible price before committing.

I like the fig, but will be waiting until I find it for a reasonable price. In a year full of 'must-have' figures, this just doesn't fit the bill. Sorry, SLJ...
