Man, I'm loving this new trailer and it definitely brought the conumdrum back! I just decided to skip Fury, but it's getting very hard to resist! Those magazine pictures that were posted a couple of pages back are freaking awesome!
I'm really thinking of ordering this guy!

Hard to say seeing as I dont know what's up with the Movie Fury's eye. I think in the original comic he still has it but covers it up cause most of his vison is lost.

This SLJ Fury isnt based on the Ultimates Fury, Ultimates Fury is based on SLJ Fury...literally...so any minor details should be the same in theory

The Ultimates came out 2002, Iron Man movie in 2008. i don't fully understand what you mean. Please clarify.

If you mean Ultimates Fury is based on SLJ, not SLJ Fury, then i understand.

But I'm almost sure that this SLJ Fury is based on the Ultimates Fury.

The Movie Nick Fury is based off the comics Nick Fury (616 Universe), but I think b/c Ultimate Nick Fury was based of SLJ, it was an easy choice to cast SLJ as Nick Fury(but as 616 Fury).

So SLJ is regular Nick Fury (616 Universe) -> who looks like Ultimate Nick Fury -> who is based off SLJ -> Who Plays regular Nick Fury (616 Universe)

basically, yes...however, in the Marvel Cinema Universe, there is no 616 or Ultimates, its essentially a blend of both universes

As far as SLJ, the Ultimates Fury is based on SLJ so when they needed to make a film version of Fury, SLJ is the route they took

I pre ordered the figure, but now I'm thinking, maybe I should get a regular "white" Nick Fury head so I can interchange them. Anyone else thinking this? And what head would make a good Nick Fury?
